Rehoboth Soul Food & Catering Restaurant

Our family found Rehoboth Soul Food in a search engine and decided to check it out based on previous reviews.We were not disappointed. The food was delicious. The server was polite and friendly. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Restaurant is family owned and seems to be relatively new. The mac n cheese is highly recommended ?.

Parking: Ample parking.

Everything you love about soul food you can find at this restaurant. From the friendly staff tp the delicious meals. would definitely recommend dining here.

Craving some amazing fried chicken and tasty collard greens? How about some chicken dressing?! Head to Rehoboth and experience some southern local SOUL food. My chicken dinner was gone so fast I didn’t get a photo! Maybe next time. I did get a few pics of the dining and banquet area. It’s a great location with lots of parking and excellent food. We will definitely return to try more menu items!

This was the first time that we had ever eaten at this restaurant. After speaking with the owner Lee, the only suggestion that I would make before coming up here would be to call first because he does still do catering and sometimes isn't open. We ended up getting two fried chicken dinners to go. For the first dinner I got mashed potatoes that came with an amazing gravy also the green beans and collard greens both were out of this world. My sides on the other dinner were mashed potatoes once again with a delicious gravy and potato salad that I've never tasted in my life, it was amazing, along with the green beans again. The batter on the fried chicken was to die for. I do wish that the friedchicken wasn't cook as long as it was besides that everything was perfect. Oh yes and homemade corn bread. This food is to die for delicious there's a sweetness to some of it I've never encountered before in my food. I will definitely tell everyone about Rehoboth. We will definitely be back.

Had lunch there recently and it was pretty good. I had the chicken fried steak and it was tasty. The rice and gravy and lima beans were good too. The onion rings were outstanding. Good service and fair prices. There weren't many people there for lunch so I hope they make it. They do catering also. Just another example of great food on Mayport Road. Get out there grab you some!!

I’m new to the area an a few people said the food was good so we tried it a few days ago. The pork chops were good but the Mac n cheese was DRY no cheese seasoning nothing. I’m convinced it was the last corner in the pan.. i don’t even know what other sides I had because I was so distracted an hurt I knew it was gonna be bomb but you can honestly tell it wasn’t right when I opened the box an they still put it in there? . I’m not going back for a while..

Overall the food was decent. Needs a little improvement. Ordered pot roast very tender needed more gravy on the rice, roast was a little dry, but really good flavor. Mac and cheese was dry, sweet potato souffle was okay. Loved the chicken dressing, and green beans. The grease needs to be changed pork chop good flavor. I'll definitely try again. I did go an hour or so before closing. The bleach smell was too strong, I understand keeping covid out.

Finally got around to giving Rehoboth a try. So glad we did. We started with the zucchini sticks. Best I've had! I had the 2 piece white with 3 sides. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes and gravy was delicious! The sweet potato soufflé was just sweet enough and very tasty. The collard greens was good, I could've used some pepper sauce but that is just my taste when it comes to greens. My hubs ordered gizzards. There was an error and he was brought fried wings. No biggie. He was OK with that. However, the cook heard and brought him out gizzards as well at no charge. Both the wings and gizzards were seasoned, breaded and amazing! We'll definitely be back to try more.

Tasty food and pleasant service. Recently opened and still figuring things out but worth our support early on. They serve only soft drinks tho.

Great food in a spotlessly clean restaurant. The meatloaf, special of the day, was the most outstanding i've ever had. The collards were delicious along with the zucchini sticks, rice and cornbread.

We got their food catered for a departmental Black History Month celebration. We have nothing but praise to shower upon them.1. They catered food for us on Monday even though the restaurant is closed.2. They packaged and portioned the food fantastically and even provided us with serving utensils! Each item had a plastic liner on top of it so even if it leaked, it would not damage the lid of the tray or leak out of the tray.3. We got 9 different sides + hors d'oeuvres, and all of them were delicious. Every single one of them was so so so yummy.4. When we got there to pick the food up, the owner was so sweet and kind, and could not have been more helpful.You cannot go wrong with Rehoboth and I highly, highly recommend their restaurant. Great people, great food, great service!

Hubby and I both love this place. Their food is so delicious. We especially like the country fried steak and the fried chicken. I have had collard greens before but theirs is my favorite!!! ?

Easily the best and most authentic soul / southern comfort food in Jacksonville. The owner is so welcoming and will do his best to customize your order if you have a special request. Great portion size and everything is made to order. Will be back!

Saw the flashing open sign but it was the words "Soul Food" that grabbed our attention! Ordered the fried porkchops with mashed potatoes covered in tasty brown gravy, field peas with snaps, authentic mac n cheese...everything seasoned just right with generous portions! Staff was polite and courteous and even checked my order in front of me to make sure that I was satisfied! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu...we will be back! Telling our friends too...

This place is the real deal! Best baked chicken and green beans I have ever had. Everything is seasoned really well and tastes fabulous. I highly recommend! The entire family loved the meal. We took it to go so we didn’t get to tell the chef. I will next time I’m in.
