I ordered a hamburger from there today with bacon and the bacon was so hard I couldn’t eat it. I’ll never get another hamburger from there again.

Best restaurant in JAX.I’m a little bit of a fine dining snob. After moving to JAX, I’ve struggled to find good restaurants.Orsay is solid. If you’re used to fine dining, you’ll like it here. It’s “casualer” fine dining—French bistro casual—where the emphasis is really on the quality of food, drinks and service.First of all, the service… Tony is literally the BEST server I have had in JAX. Thank you for doing a proper mise en place. He’s professional, passionate about the food, knowledgeable about the menu. I could tell he fired food based on the pase of our table. Nailed it.Second, the details. My plate was hot, but not because it was sitting under a heat lamp, but because it was intentionally hot. I could tell that someone wiped my plate, because they take pride in what they’re serving. These two qualities sets this restaurant apart (unfortunately) from literally every other “fine dining” restaurant I’ve tried so far in JAX.Third, they have foie gras, and it was excellent. They have duck confit. This is the type of restaurant where I’m sure there’s a giant tub of duck feet in the back. It’s legit confit. And it tasted like that. Props to the chef. So, if you’re a foodie. Come here. Eat the “weird” food on the menu, so that the chef has an audience for cool specials.

If I lived in Jacksonville, I’m sure this would be a go to place. They certainly bring a lot to the table so to speak. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. Given the high profile fanciness that’s offered by the menu and the prices are substantial. I tried the escargot, which was amongst the worst I was ever served and way different than the traditional renditions. I had to send it back. To their credit, they didn’t shame me, but it’s not fun to have to reject something from the fancy fancy kitchen also frankly, the main dishes were OK, but nothing over the top with two drinks and tip 270 bucks, there’s no way I could justify calling back there and doing a similar dinner perhaps it’s best to just get the burger or or steak frites, which were great, and perhaps the best part of what we were served.

Our server was Jessica, FANTASTIC she is! My first time going to Orsay and it was wonderful. The food was amazing and the staff was on it with team work and truly creating the atmosphere. The vegan shepherds pie is perfect. This restaurant will give you a great experience, definitely give it a try!

One of the best, if not THE best, restaurants in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. Orsay is a great place for anything from a quick drink with friends and colleagues to a special dinner with loved ones.

Orsay Restaurant is an impressive dining venue. When I entered the restaurant, I was attracted by its exquisite and elegant decoration and unique atmosphere. The soft lighting and comfortable seating in the restaurant create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. As a woman, I pay extra attention to details and service in restaurants. Orsay Restaurant did not disappoint me at all in this regard. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm and friendly attitude by the staff, making me feel truly cared for and respected. The menu has a very rich selection of dishes, whether it is seafood or meat, it can satisfy the needs of different tastes. I chose their signature seafood soup, which was a feast for the taste. The soup has a rich taste, and the deliciousness of the seafood spreads in your mouth, making you endless aftertaste.

This will definitely be our date night go to. Orsay has been on our "must visit" yelp spots. I thought I would surprise my wife with a date night and we weren't disappointed. Caden, our server was top notch! He took the time to share his favorites at the restaurant. We started our meal with the oysters rockefeller which were devine. They had the perfect amount of saltiness from the bacon and cheese to accompany the garlic. My wife ordered scallops and risotto and I was torn between the lobster mac and cheese and risotto. Caden entertained my request asking the chef if I could have meal size portion of risotto instead of scallops. Surprisingly enough, the chef said yes, even during the busiest night of the week. I decided to "sample" my wife's mushroom risotto and order a side of lobster mac and cheese. We ended dinner with a creme brulee that was so smooth and velvety. The only issue is a common theme in Jacksonville, parking is terrible. I can't wait to go back again.

I have never been disappointed going to Orsay. I have had dinner with friends and I have had happy hour with friends. Always excellent food, drinks and service. My favorite restaurant!

The restaurant offers okay food, but I found the prices to be too high for the quality. However, the service was good, which somewhat made up for it. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I expected better value and quality for the price.
