The food wasn't very great, the steak tacos were really dry and the beef burrito was pretty mediocre. Seems like a nice local hang out place, but I wouldn't really dine in here for a meal.

I ordered the San diego carne asada fries today and MAN i finished that meal so quickly. Absolutely phenomenal. To the point where im compelled to write a review. I must say that each and every time i come here, i come out with a happy belly and a huge grin on my face. The atmosphere is welcoming and bright. The service is always, and i mean always great. From the food, to the hospitality, to the cleanliness of the restaurant, to the never ending delicious food, this place is definitely a favorite of mine in Jacksonville. It’s a secret little gem here & hard to find but definitely worth every single dollar. The food is super fresh. Almost everything is made in house. Nothing beats fresh salsa and chips or the house hot sauce. Even the ranch is homemade. You cant find a buffet of Tex-mex & southern food anywhere either. This place is a MUST TRY. If you took the time to read my review, dont think too long about coming here. Just COME, i promise you’ll LOVE IT! The staff here feel like family and you get great food. What can beat that

Quaint spot for Mexican food. Hard to spot this place near the grocery store parking lot. The service was amazing. Birra tacos had a small piece of bone but the flavor was very good. The rice tasted a little old. Guacamole was delightful. The menu has tea listed as $1.99 though we were charged $3.29. Recommend getting this updated.
Overall good find and service was excellent. Food needs some improvement.

Was craving carne asada fries and was told they had some good ones and good portions even though they were rather pricey at $25. Decided to cave and give them a try and even try their chorizo queoso dip that was $10. Get there to pick and check the food and did a quick look to see the group photo you see i attached. Get back and after further investigating there's barely a layer of fries and the container of queso is hardly deserving the price it's charged. This place is a rip off. They tried to say it's 5oz of steak and advertise online a bigger portion and claim the fries as a dinner but barely a child's portion. I'm sorry but I shouldn't have to complain to get proper service and should get it the first time around. If you look at the package of meat I attached it's less than 5oz of meat and is clearly more meat than what's in the fries. We spent $40 for 2 items for 2 people and were very disappointed.
