I ordered the San diego carne asada fries today and MAN i finished that meal so quickly. Absolutely phenomenal. To the point where im compelled to write a review. I must say that each and every time i come here, i come out with a happy belly and a huge grin on my face. The atmosphere is welcoming and bright. The service is always, and i mean always great. From the food, to the hospitality, to the cleanliness of the restaurant, to the never ending delicious food, this place is definitely a favorite of mine in Jacksonville. It’s a secret little gem here & hard to find but definitely worth every single dollar. The food is super fresh. Almost everything is made in house. Nothing beats fresh salsa and chips or the house hot sauce. Even the ranch is homemade. You cant find a buffet of Tex-mex & southern food anywhere either. This place is a MUST TRY. If you took the time to read my review, dont think too long about coming here. Just COME, i promise you’ll LOVE IT! The staff here feel like family and you get great food. What can beat that

Quaint spot for Mexican food. Hard to spot this place near the grocery store parking lot. The service was amazing. Birra tacos had a small piece of bone but the flavor was very good. The rice tasted a little old. Guacamole was delightful. The menu has tea listed as $1.99 though we were charged $3.29. Recommend getting this updated.
Overall good find and service was excellent. Food needs some improvement.

Was craving carne asada fries and was told they had some good ones and good portions even though they were rather pricey at $25. Decided to cave and give them a try and even try their chorizo queoso dip that was $10. Get there to pick and check the food and did a quick look to see the group photo you see i attached. Get back and after further investigating there's barely a layer of fries and the container of queso is hardly deserving the price it's charged. This place is a rip off. They tried to say it's 5oz of steak and advertise online a bigger portion and claim the fries as a dinner but barely a child's portion. I'm sorry but I shouldn't have to complain to get proper service and should get it the first time around. If you look at the package of meat I attached it's less than 5oz of meat and is clearly more meat than what's in the fries. We spent $40 for 2 items for 2 people and were very disappointed.

We came in for lunch and there seemed to be only one server working, but the service was so excellent that we couldn’t tell. The food was great and the price was good. Everything tasted fresh and came out quick. It was our first time dining here and we are adding to our “go to” list.

Best TexMex restaurant in Jacksonville area everything made from scratch and on the spot fresh as can be. Definitely recommended if you are in the mood for some authentic Mexican food. Owner came by to greet us and had a nice conversation with us. 5 stars because there isn't anything higher. ✨️

We love going to Rigos! We have tried just about everything but today we got a chance to eat from the buffet and we absolutely loved it. The fried fish and chicken was a favorite. We enjoyed everything from the salad bar to the desserts. No pictures bc we ate so fast lol

I've seen this place several times on Google Maps and have always been eye balling the burrito smothered in queso. So I finally decided to give this place a try.I came in on a Monday, early evening. We were the only customers in the restaurant. I'm unsure of what our servers name was but she was a very nice young lady. We enjoyed great service and great food. I was a little confused with the menu cause it shows queso and chips as an appetizer and guacamole and chips as another appetizer. I didn't look at the bill but unsure if chips were complimentary with salsa like any other restaurants. I'm sure it was though.I ordered the steak burrito baja blast. Was absolutely amazing. I had to take a picture compared to my hand so you can see the size. I was only able to finish half of it. The flavors alone in the steak were great. Would definitely order it again in the future.Also found the menu interesting with the amount of American food choices. One that really surprised me was the meatloaf. Definitely a wide variety of options to choose from. One day I'll go there to try out the buffet. Would be interested in seeing how that spread is and how good the food is.Will definitely return in the future. Great service and great food. Even the Chef came out and asked how the food was. That's how you know they have passion in their meals.
