After disappointing switching from one Mexican dive to another in the area, we finally found an authentic family-owned Mexican restaurant that didn't cut corners to increase profit. Our biggest let-down was when we ordered Chile-rellenos at a competitor's and got a ' thin slice' of poblano covered with Velveta cheese. We've been with Rosy's since they opened and was so happy we found authenticity with quality that is not masked behind gaudy chain-restaurant decor. They are like family! Always wanting to please with a smile, they ask if you are satisfied and mean it. They have a large loyal following. Everyone who's eaten there say the same thing; they're the best. You won't be disappointed.

This place is amazing! During my move to Jax I was looking for good comfort food and I found it here at Rosy's. Katie was an amazing server and had such great hospitality. She made me feel right at home. The food was amazing. I got the beef burrito, enchilada, and tamale combo. It will not disappoint you if you like more traditional Spanish goods. They also serve soups on Sunday which I was also happy about because I was a little under the weather. You will have to ask for it because it is not on the menu. Overall, if you are in Jax, FL check out Rosy's for all you spanish food needs. SN: they make a great margarita!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rosie’s — Seventeen Years of Pure Deliciousness!
I’ve been a loyal customer at Rosie’s Mexican Restaurant for over 17 years, and it just keeps getting better! From the first bite to the last, every meal is packed with incredible flavor and that homemade touch you can’t find anywhere else.
My all-time favorite has always been the chicken enchiladas — tender, flavorful, and covered in the most delicious sauce imaginable. And lately, the the shrimp tacos have become my new go-to — fresh, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. Every bite feels like a little celebration.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the consistency after all these years is truly remarkable. You can taste the pride and care that go into every dish.
Rosie’s isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a tradition. After 17 years, I can honestly say it’s the best Mexican food anywhere, hands down. 🌮🔥

Our family has been going here for nearly 20 years, and this weekend we went there to celebrate a family birthday. We called ahead, and brought a cake with us. We put our orders in for the 9 of us, and my 4 year old ordered a cheeseburger, and my wife ordered an enchilada platter. Food came out within 15 min, which is great. However, my son and wife's food never came to the table. They said it would be out in a minute about 4 or 5 times. We were waiting to eat until everyone was served. Over 20 minutes went by, and they kept bring food out to every other table in the restaurant, but still no dinner. My son was hungry, and his food usually comes out first. My wife got really upset too, as she told everyone to start eating so their food didn't get too cold. The server never checked on us, and we're not the type of people who never complain at a restaurant. After about a half hour, Rosy came to the table and said the kitchen forgot the order, and asked if we still wanted our meals. Obviously over a half hour went by, and we said no. No apologies, nothing offered by the owner. We ended up eating real quick because we needed to go and get our son fed and home to bed. We had to go home, and my brother and his family had to take the cake home, and we were unable to celebrate with them. We felt bad for my brother as his birthday dinner was ruined. This is his favorite Mexican restaurant. Needless to say, we are all done with this restaurant for good. We stopped going there when they got in trouble years back for not paying their employees and taking advantage of them. So, we gave them a second chance a few years ago, and have been going there on a regular basis. Third strike and your out. It seems Rosy doesn't value her customers anymore either.

Absolutely amazing food - definitely order the plates rather than the tacos and build them yourself! Both the steak and the pork are awesome, and they reheat super well if you have leftovers (I always do!). The nachos and salsa are delicious, too! I come here often with friends and family and everyone loves it.

We got there shortly before they closed, but they took us anyway. They had a wide variety of options. Everything we got was good and hot and service was pretty quick. Was super happy to finally get some fresh fried okra!
