I had visited this location about 6 years ago several times and I am not sure if it was called RR Crab House at the time. I would get a garlic crab tray and a garlic shrimp tray. It was always delicious and that was why I would return. Just recently I was asked to pick up some live blue crabs in Jacksonville FL while I was visiting and to bring them to GA because GA did not have any on the particular day. I started searching in Jville and then I remembered this location from my past. I decided to call first, got an answer and I was told they sold live crabs and that they had some available. Alex is the person whom I spoke with and he was extremely nice to me and my mom, I really appreciated that. There was another young man there as well who was just as helpful but I forgot his name even though he spelled it back to me. I received great customer service and I will return if I ever need to purchase fresh seafood while I am in Jax FL. The crabs I bought were full, and we purchased them so that they could be grilled, and there were delicious 😋.

The reason I scored this location with a 2 is because I have gone there a few times to have to return fish that wasn't fresh. I have never had a problem with the shrimp and crabs.

Nice little spot to get crabs but you got to be there early cuz he do sell fast other than that nice little place to get seafood from.

The worst customer service, and increased price of crabs, holiday, 25, 35, 45 became 55 dollars a dozen, truly price gouging and unkind to people of color. Stated phone line was down cash only!!!! Not acceptable.Did Not purchase anything and will not again.
