Our favorite restaurant when looking for a truly memorable meal. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Rue welcomed us with a signed congratulations card and glasses of champagne. We ordered the tasting menu and experienced a delicious and beautifully presented five course meal. Each course was crafted and prepared with a combination of flavors we've never tasted. We simply looked at each other after our first bites and smiled. Rue never disappoints. We highly recommend.

This restaurant was small but really cute — a nice surprise during our night in Jacksonville. We decided to try the tasting menu with wine pairings, and the first few courses were excellent — great textures, beautiful presentation, and unique flavors that kept us excited for what was next. However, the last two dishes fell a bit flat, and the dessert was so tart we couldn’t finish it. That’s what knocked off a star for me. Overall, though, I’d definitely come back and recommend giving this place a try — even if you skip the tasting menu.

As always, Rue St Marc was excellent. The fall menu has one of my favorites: Duck Confit. I will never not order that at least once a season if it is on the menu. I have never been disappointed. Per usual, all of the food was great, our service was extraordinary and our drinks were en pointe. Rue is my favorite restaurant in Jacksonville.

A really nice dining experience. We had the chef's tasting menu and wine tasting. Really special- tasty, good wine and not rushed at all. You will enjoy it for a special occasion. Very considerate and friendly staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the hunt and forage special event. Every dish was extremely delicious and ended in clean plate! I do not even eat fish and I even ate that entire course. We would like to make it a tradition to attend every year. We would highly recommend the experience to anyone. :)

We made a prepaid reservation for the five course fall and hunt dinner. The first course was a trout that was only cooked medium, which is not my preference but I'm sure it is special. The bigger issue was the fish arrived, cold and had a fishy taste. We pointed this out, but there was no alternative offered. So I just asked for some bread because it was really hungry. They gave me one tiny piece of brioche. The next four courses were really good, but I still left hungry as the portions were tiny. I ended up eating at home afterwards
Never disappoints. Every time we dine, the menu delights with new selections. The food is delicious and fresh and the cocktail menu is extensive. I highly recommend this place for special nights. The staff is very fast and friendly.

We enjoyed a 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing. Everything was delicious and enjoyable. The presentation of both food and wine was first class, as was the service. We were close to the kitchen so we could see the care taken by the chefs in preparing the food. Rue San Marco is perfectly sized, so comfortable conversations could be had with our party. This is my fourth time eating here, it will not be the last.

The quality of the food does not justify the portions provided for the price. The "French Bistro" experience can be found in other places that don't charge so much for mediocrity. For example, the bread service is 4 small rolls with butter for $9. Not to mention, the bar and kitchen were significantly delayed, so all the drinks and food came out later than expected. The server recognized this and apologized for the delay, which was appreciated. I haven't been back to Rue in several years. Now, I remember why. There are too many other restaurants in Jacksonville that can provide a better experience for the money.

We had another great meal, and attentive service at Rue Saint-Marc. We throughly enjoyed our meals and drinks. The veal tenderloin wrapped in bacon and the halibut were perfection. My husband loves the Manhattan and I enjoyed a nice glass of red wine. Come check them out, you won't be disappointed!
