Thoroughly enjoyed the bib lettuce salad, best fooe gras we've had in the states or anywhere for that matter, Hubby chose the halibut which was delicious. I chose the chicken it was delicious, the portion maybe a little bit small. We also had the oven fresh bread service and special butter. It was yummy. It was my birthday and they brought me a glass of champagne and some sherbet which we're both very nice. I ordered the soufflé. Make sure you order this 20 minutes in advance because it does come out freshly baked from the oven and takes a little extra time. it melts in your mouth!

All servers were helpful, courteous and professional. The menu while limited allowed all appetizers and mains to be superbly prepared and does not detract from going. Just check the menu beforehand to know what you may order. I ordered the venison dish which was delicious and would recommend it. Only request would be sharper knives!

Our favorite restaurant when looking for a truly memorable meal. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Rue welcomed us with a signed congratulations card and glasses of champagne. We ordered the tasting menu and experienced a delicious and beautifully presented five course meal. Each course was crafted and prepared with a combination of flavors we've never tasted. We simply looked at each other after our first bites and smiled. Rue never disappoints. We highly recommend.

This restaurant was small but really cute — a nice surprise during our night in Jacksonville. We decided to try the tasting menu with wine pairings, and the first few courses were excellent — great textures, beautiful presentation, and unique flavors that kept us excited for what was next. However, the last two dishes fell a bit flat, and the dessert was so tart we couldn’t finish it. That’s what knocked off a star for me. Overall, though, I’d definitely come back and recommend giving this place a try — even if you skip the tasting menu.
