Rustic 21 Bistro

A must try! Rustic 21 Bistro is a great choice for those wanting a unique dining experience and quaint atmosphere. I enjoyed the Costela Bovina (Braised Short Rib on top of a parmesan risotto). The Brazilian flavors were deliciously bold and the short rib was super tender.

Picasa was cooked perfectly, although not quite as tender as I expected. Pork schnitzel was HUGE and very delicious. Service was excellent.

Fabulous! service, atmosphere and food all memorable! Lovws rhy when asked for suggestions, our server did not hesitate to point out items. Small menu but no of shortage of selection!

Warm modern atmosphere, well decorated with smooth popular music with a Brazilian flair. The food was spot on with a savory taste. We ordered their fish appetizer with a tartar seasoned infused dipping sauce, the chicken stroganoff and lasagna, both were very decadent. The pecan ice cream with petite gateau de dulce de leche.

On a side note the staff is friendly and the chef was kind enough to introduce himself.

Bathroom was very well decorated and extremely clean.

I’m in awe of this little gem. We went around lunchtime and were surprised to find the place entirely empty. We were the only table and it was honestly so intimate but I do want more people to try this place so come try!!!

The food was AMAZING 10/10 so delicious!!!! Oh my God I was in food heaven. The risotto and braised short ribs is literally to die for. The crispy pork appetizer was perfect. Everything was so fresh, hot you can tell it was cooked at the moment.

Their mule is soooo yummy!! Also 10/10

The service was so good as well. Christian was an excellent service.

To conclude this review I just want to say this place deserves the recognition of what a good restaurant actually is.

Came here for dinner with my husband and MIL. We ordered the pork belly appetizer - crispy, moist, and tender. For dinner, I got the braised short ribs, hubby got the steak and MIL got the shrimp stew. All were amazing and the service was attentive and friendly. The dulce de leche dessert was a perfect finish! The restaurant was beautiful and inviting - great place for a date. We will definitely be back!

Please go eat here!! You'll miss out on some yummy food if you don't! The shepard's pie is great! Ribs and risotto was tasty! For dessert the baked coconut with peach ice cream will definitely hit the spot!!!

Food was fantastic. I got the stroganoff and it was supremely flavorful. Wife got the schnitzel delicious, and huge portion. Our companions got the risotto, and loved it.

We very much look forward to returning, only thing to watch for: only one server handling the dining room and making drinks. He did great under the circumstances, but he was spread thin.

Everything about this place hit the spot! The food was flavorful and beautifully presented—definitely a level above your usual bistro fare. Service was friendly, fast, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere? Warm, inviting, and perfect for a cozy dinner with friends. Bonus points for the great drinks too! Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

A quaint little place. Recommend by my sister and brother-in-law. Came over with them to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Located off Southside Blvd in a strip mall just past Beach blvd. They do take reservations and it does get rather busy for dinner. Not a huge amount of tables here so plan accordingly before you come.

Started out with the fried Tapioca squares and pepper jelly. Delicious. Brazilian cheese bread and a side of freshly made potato chips. All were delicious.

Main dish was the Picanha Top Sirloin. It was cooked as ordered perfectly. Served with Biro-biro rice which I thought was a weird combination and fried yuca fries. Both were delicious just not a great combination but wanted to try something different.

My wife got the lasagna, Bolognese. Which again was different given we were at an inspired Brazilian restaurant. She said it was delicious.

I would rate it excellent for flavors but odd on main dish offerings. Overall we had a great experience and the food was prepared perfectly. Not a huge menu so I would expect a pretty well prepared meal.
