Ruth's Chris Steak House

Ruth's does not disappoint. They managed the Valentine's crowd flawlessly. The vibes were top tier with soft lighting, rose petals and the manager greeting patrons. The food and cocktails were fantastic. Most importantly, our steaks were a perfect medium. My server was a bit forgetful but the evening was still wonderful. We will be back as usual.

Server was all over the place. They didn't honor a special on their website said it ended to day before. Refilled our lemonade glass with water I've been here several times never had such poor service.

Dinner and the customer service was amazing! Food was great as always! My mocktail was delicious as well!

After at least 4 years we went back to Ruth Chris for a dinner date. Overall it was very good, the food, the service, the atmosphere, the noise was low. The only problem I have is the payment method: After extensive overseas travels, and even some local small restaurants, I have hard time, relinquishing my credit card to the servers to pay, instead of the server coming with a credit card scanner, and pay at the table! I think Ruth Chris management needs to get on with the times! I really don't like that!

It was an incredible experience since the very beginning! The food was amazing not the service is the best of this place!!!!

Fantastic restaurant with an excellent view of the St John river. The food was excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food and service were exceptional as always. My only complaint is I asked for medium well filet with little pink. It was more pink than I asked but still good.

Our reservation was at 5:30, we arrived around 5:15 and we were asked to wait until 5:30 to be seated. When they took us to our table, they made us sit along the interior wall away from the windows so we could not see the river. I asked if we could get a table along the windows and was told that they didn't have the wait staff available for those, even though there were at least a dozen tables available. I felt like I was in “time out” staring at the cushions on the bench. Meanwhile, they seated others along the window until most of the tables along the window were filled by the time we left. Very unpleasant experience.

Waited for 25 minutes before being seated. Drinks were good. Meats were week worth the price.

Kim was SPECTACULAR! I apologize I didn't catch her assistants name for the evening but she was delightful. Another great evening with amazing food and friends!

I love Ruth Chris because your food is hot when brought to the table. The ambience as far as looking out the window to the water is calming. The atmosphere inside is pleasant with a joyful calming, and friendly environment. A little expensive but I see they bought an all inclusive affordable meal to choose from. Overrall it is worth a visit. I go there all the time, smile.

Ruth's Chris is one of our favorites and the downtown location has proven to be the better choice time and again, but the team wasn't quite on their game that night. Several dishes came separately, missing serving pieces and a couple the wrong size, and a beat slow on keeping the water glasses filled. All got resolved but not what you expect at RC. To go bags had mismatched contents. Believe our server wasn't having her best night. We'll give them another chance soon and hope they are back on their game with all the proper dishes, delivered together with the necessary serving pieces, smooth wine service and water glasses that never run dry.
