I love rolls and my friend and I were hungry and were near this restaurant. Cozy, clean restaurant, on Sunday at 5 p.m. it was not crowded and our waiter was kind to us and helped us with the choice, thanks to him. For epitizer I had PHILLY CHEES KRAB, it was very tasty! To continue, I ordered more rolls, unfortunately I didn’t remember its name, it was also delicious, but I liked the epitizer the most. My friend is a small fan of rolls and took rice with shrimp and vegetable and said it was good. Thanks to the chefs, they made our day. Thanks to our guy the waiter for the advice. We will visit the restaurant again.

This place was horrible. The food was not fresh, the tuna looked canned and both my husband and I left the restaurant feeling sick. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Came here a couple weeks ago with a group of 6 for lunch. Loved it so much I decided to come back today for lunch but unfortunately sat around for an hour and never got my meal except the soup that comes before my lunch I ordered. Didn't even have a sever come back to check on me or refill my drink and had to flag someone down so I could pay for my coke and return to work. At that point they ended up bringing my food out (with the chicken being cold) as I was paying, which I didn’t even want or have time to eat at that point. Should’ve just walked out. Will not be back. Extremely disappointing

If you’re craving delicious Japanese food, look no further! I love their sushi and their Yaki Udon…. The most delicious, flavor packed meal with the chewiest udon noodles. Do yourself a favor and have a bowl!

Went for dinner a couple days ago coming back from college and food was amazing as always. I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and finally decided to write a review. Definitely recommend! If you ever come to Jacksonville, this is the place for sushi. On another note, I was scrolling through the reviews because I was nosy ?I noticed a recent one that was familiar to me but the way they worded it was definitely not how it went. I can’t write this review without addressing the other one? it keeps bothering me because the staff has been amazing :( anywho, I have been coming here for years and the staff has always been the sweetest. The review felt that the “lady with an insulated cup” was treated in humanely. The staff not only felt bad and gave her food and gave her hot water since it was so cold, but they have been doing that for so many years now. I have been a regular here since 2018 when I moved to San Marco and the homeless lady we saw that night had been coming continuously from time to time. From what I have seen, the staff had always given her food and their hot green tea (which, by the way, is amazing. definitely try their tea. perfect for cold weather). Plus this is a restaurant. Believe it or not, i think they should clean the table after every customer no matter what Karen ?? i prefer not to eat in the germs of whoever ate here before me ?

The food was fine, but the sheer lack of decency toward a fellow human made my child and I sick. We are going into a 30-something degree night & a lady came in with an insulated cup asking for hot water. She had a sleeping pad with her that indicated she would be sleeping in the winter cold. The man made up a fake charge to avoid giving her the water that would likely keep her from freezing tonight. Another table covered the charge for the hot water. The entire wait staff then stood in the cashier station directly next to my daughter and myself talking about her and making fun of her until she left, which made my daughter and I extremely uncomfortable. Then as soon as the lady left, the wait staff made a big production of it by taking a bottle of Febreze to where the lady sat, went to the table that paid for the water and “explained” to them that the lady was “just looking for free stuff,” and then continued to talk about her amongst themselves in front of guests, this time including the sushi chefs. All this with less than 3 weeks until Christmas. The entire staff should be ashamed of themselves & I sincerely hope that they never end up in a situation where they need a hot cup of water to keep themselves from freezing while they sleep outside in the winter. It was sickening to watch them treat another human being with such disregard and total lack of empathy or compassion. They seem to forget that they are 1-2 paychecks away from being in her shoes, and they should feel grateful that they get to go another week without having to beg for hot water to survive. If they choose to act in such a repulsive manner in the future, keep their terrible, inhumane behavior out of the sight of guests bc it was not cute or entertaining to us.

This place is extremely underwhelming for how expensive it is. If you're charging $16+ for a roll, it better be good, and these were NOT. I also ordered a couple of pieces of toro at $5.50 each. When they brought it, the fish did not look or smell like toro. I tried one and as I suspected, it was NOT toro. It looked, smelled and tasted more like mackerel. I asked the waitress about it, but she insisted that it was toro. It definitely was not. I feel like they intentionally lied and ripped me off. To make matters worse, the entire floor of the restaurant is filthy and sticky. You can tell that it hasn't been mopped in ages. I will never go back to this place again. Don't understand how it has so many good reviews. Apparently Jacksonville has no idea what good sushi is.
