Good food, great prices. Very accommodating service. I ordered the fresh spring rolls and Pho noodle soup. Anything I asked for, I got it.

Sala Thai, man where do I even start. Maybe let's start by saying that this is probably a one way stop for experiencing Thai cuisine.
Does the place look old? Sure you can make that argument, but that food is probably one of the best cuisine I have ever had. I tried their pad thai and my mind was blown. This dish was so good, that I would eat this everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is a lot especially coming from an ex-obese person.
If you are ever looking to take a significant other out on a date, I assure you that this place will not disappointment.

Ate dinner early, only party in the restaurant. Some takeout pickups while we were there and then another party dined in.
Server (owner maybe) was super friendly and made good recommendations for those with questions on the menu or what spice level they preferred.
Tried the sampler appetizer, enough for three or four people. 4 different items (fried shrimp, egg rolls, spring rolls and krab delight) along with a couple of sauces, one item was a spring roll and I was not expecting it to be fried (which resulted in a weird taste on the outside). We have been to many Thai restaurants and spring rolls are usually not fried (but I know they can be). So that was the only miss on that platter.
The rest of the party ordered a variety of dinner items from drunken noodles to curry dishes to fried rice. Most dishes are listed with just vegetable components and in many cases you will pick a protein if desired. Other dishes include duck and snapper. Lots of menu choices available for dinner so you should be able to find something.
Tried the yellow curry and the flavors were not very strong for a curry (I'm expecting ginger maybe lemongrass, possibly lime leaf, etc. Ordered Thai Hot and it was a medium hot, additional condiment sauces are available to aid in the heat level. Item served with a separate bowl of rice. Overall, this dish was underwhelming.
Another member of the party had gone to the restaurant for lunch and liked the limited menu, dinner as noted above has many, many options.
Parties of 6+ will incur an automatic tip charge of 20%.
May try again if I'm in the area but we have found other reliable Thai restaurants.

Best Thai in Jax. I've had most every dish on the menu. Pad Thai portion and flavor is awesome. Musamum beef curry is my favorite. Get extra lunch eggrolls for the table

I came from NYC to FL with my family. We decided to stop and grab something to eat. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I love Thai food. I’m glad I stopped here.

Phenomenal food, the only Thai in Jax I’ll eat again. Service was some of the best I’ve ever had. Shawn was our server, and he was incredibly kind and helpful. I’ve already recommend this place to my friends, and can’t wait to go back!

Sala Thai is one of my favorite restaurants in Jacksonville, a must-visit every month. The flavor of the food is incomparable (I've been to many Thai restaurants), and the taste of my food is smooth and delicious. Of course, if you like spicy food, you'll like it too. Overall, every time I come here, they treat us well, and the food never disappoints.

We've had Thai cuisine in at least 2 dozen restaurants in our travels. Other places fail to meet the high bar set by the Chicken Phad Thai served here. This should be a savory dish, not a sweet dish as served in other establishments. Drunken Noodle is also excellent. Panaeng Curry 🍛 is also a top item. This dish is sweet and savory. I hate coming back to Jax and not making a trip by Sala Thai. Support this local business serving up authentic Thai.

Best Thai food I've ever tasted. Go there as often as possible. Made a point during COVID to get pickup from them weekly just to ensure they stayed open.

Nice and friendly customer service.
Papaya salad was very different but really good. The place is very pretty and the food was great. The curry har very complex and authentic flavor that I had never had before. I would recommend the Red curry. My Phaneng was a little too salty but I still loved it. Also the variety of exotic vegetables like Thai eggplant were a pleasant surprise and a delight Beware if you are used to Thai hot may be dial it down cause their Thai hot is the real deal.
