The food was fantastic, the service was friendly in encouraging. While the place is in a part of town of San marco, it's not the cleanest restaurant in the area. Which is a little scary but the food was great

I was looking for an affordable place to have lunch. A quick Google search later brought me to Sarah's of San Marco. The prices were great. The food was good. I was surprised to see homemade sloppy Joe's on the menu. Also glad they serve canned coke. One minor critique, is that I saw they were handling food without gloves. I'm sure my digestive system can handle it, though. All in all I would try again.

I went there and had their bacon cheeseburger. This was the best burger I tasted fluffy bun juicy patty wasn’t smashed at all. I had to take a box of fries home because I was full just off the burger. The prices are amazing here. I normally don’t write reviews but this deserves a 5 star from me

This has become a weekly stop for me. Many options, generous portions, great prices/terrific value, a relaxed, bare-bones atmosphere, and the ladies are so friendly. Lately, my go-to has been the grilled chicken & mushroom pita; it's fantastic. And if you miss the Yum Yum Tree, this will cure you!

You want down home style good food on the grill? This is where you go. One of these days I'll get there early enough to try some pastries, they go quick. Friendly people all around, cozy atmosphere. Every hometown should have a Sara's.

I admittedly did not have high expectations at first. When I walked in, the strong smell of old grease hit me in the face, and the outdated decor was an eyesore. I was greeted by a very sweet and cheerful woman. The wait for the food was around 10 minutes which is not bad at all. I got a Philly cheese steak and onion rings. The steak was surprisingly flavorful, but the bread was a bit soggy. Not soggy enough for me to be uncomfortable, but enough to notice. The onion rings needed more salt, but the breading was crispy. The impression that the nice woman left on me from our small interaction was enough to make me come back. This time, I got a Ruben sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie. The Ruben was good, but more corn beef would’ve been nice. The cookie was good, had lots of chocolate and had a nice texture. The prices for everything are reasonable. Overall, although my expectations were not high, I was pleasantly surprised. No the food is not 5 star level but it’s fine for the price. The women who work there are really nice and personable, and the amazing service left a great impression on me. I will continue to come here whenever I’m in the mood for reasonable food at reasonable prices.

Had a great experience with the people who work there and I love the Halloween vibes. Really great value where you can get good food for around $10/person.

Omelet, sausage, and toast were better than average. Particularly because they don’t use the liquid squeeze “butter” thankfully! Grits were average (too salty for my taste buds). Coffee was standard diner coffee. Floors and some surfaces were a little sticky. I took the lid off the hot sauce because of clogage.

The cookies looked great and I look forward to coming back and trying them and some items from the lunch menu.

They have two doors, use the one to the right.

Amazing… Waiter and Manage… the best meal ever. Chicken kebab over a bed of rice…A+++++ omg but the salad was the most delicious salad I have ever ate.. I love heavy onions and homemade dressing… Make you want more… my new fave place….

This is a dumpy little hole-in-the-wall kind of place, perfect for classic, easy lunches. Counter service with indoor seating, one does not come here for atmosphere. Nevertheless, the fare is time-honored. There is a chilled case, presumably for bakery items, but it was empty which was disappointing considering the labels in place in the case. That's okay, they had my fave- a tuna melt, which has gotten difficult to find of late. The fries were hot and crispy. My dining partner had a patty melt with fries, and also enjoyed it. Leave grandiose visions of fine dining behind, but if you want a decent sandwich for a quick, easy lunch this could be your spot. Free easy parking in the lot. Did not visit the loo. The restaurant seems accessible enough for most average needs. It's worth a try.

Service is friendly and welcoming---- with a neighborhood feel to it. We each had a cheeseburger and fries. Everything was hot and fresh. Fries were so delicious and crispy. The meat patties were flavorful and cooked perfectly. Cheeseburgers came with red onion slices, tomato slices, lettuce, and pickle chips. Prices are very reasonable for the quality.

Had two hashbrown bowls and coffee this morning. Food was fresh and tasted really good. Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely a no frills kind of place but at the price point that seems very reasonable. Try it out!
