Marking the service terrible as it’s the day after thanksgiving and understaffed. Our service was awful, there’s a family still here 20 minutes without anyone coming to their table.

Ms Jackie and can't remember the other waitress name but they were great and understaffed but they didn't miss a beat the Manager came in also and they made our outing great

It's my favorite place to eat. They were very busy bec they had two 🥳. The steak and shrimp were very delicious and I will return this Saturday.

The experience was horrible my order was canceled due to lack of food the restaurant advertised and didn't have. Once I arrive no one was at the front to greet customers and provide assistance. I. Called restaurant before arriving to replace canceled order and was placed on hold twice and never answered and confirm the order. The the staff did not communicate with one another and I was accused of not purchasing two meals . I had proof of purchase. My food was old not fresh wet by the time I got home. Once they handed me food it was handed to me off the top of a refrigerator cooler that sits in the opening of restaurant.

I gave this two stars bc it was edible but in no way was it good. Had very little flavor and it's questionable if the fish was actually done. Would not order again.

Food was Meh....I ordered fried pollock and scallops, with green beans and fries. I had lemon pepper wings and fried pickles for appetizers. The wings had good flavor but clearly over cooked. The fried pickles we couldn't or wouldn't keep eating because they used sweet (bread and butter style)pickles instead of dill or kosher style. Not a fan of sweet fried pickles and that should at least be noted on the menu. The pollock was overcooked because it was kinda chewy around the edges and tasted like the grease was old. The scallops were ok, but again, because they tasted like the grease was old, it takes away from the flavor. The green beans were good. The fries tasted old like they were reheated several times. The service was ok be cause we knew they were short staffed and the girl was doing the best she could with not much help. The atmosphere was less inviting because even though we want to help our small businesses, keeping the establishment clean and inviting is probably the least expensive thing when maintaining a restaurant. The floors were sticky when we walked around in the restaurant and when I went to go wash my hands before eating, the bathroom smelled awful like a port o potty and reminded me of a truck stop bathroom countryside that is barely maintain. The table my daughter and I sat at was wobbly, so she folded up one of the napkins and put it under one of the table legs to keep the table from wobbling. The place has potential, but this is an honest review. If I am going to spend my hard earned money eating out, the last thing I want to think about is if the restaurant is maintained this poorly, I don't wanna see the kitchen. You may want to give John Taffer a call or watch a few episodes of Bar Rescue.

Traveled 40 minutes just for some NASTY food, they didn't have any of the drinks on their menu, it was only 8 other people in their (that should have been our cue to leave) we got there at 630 and didn't get our food until after 8... we left most of the food on the table, the bathrooms are filthy, and to add insult to injury they charge you for using your card vs paying in cash and didn't tell us til they bought the bill... NEVER EVER will I return to this dump.... the health inspector needs to make an appearance

I’m sorry, as an ex server and bartender, you are lacking in both areas. Your “bartender” was our server. Despite being 3’ from the bar, she seldom came to ask us if we needed anything. She has no idea how to make a margarita. Worst bartender ever. You need the old one back!

Went there for a birthday celebration. Large party. Which was an automatic 20%. The servers were ok, but definitely needed to mind their underhanded comments. Food was not the greatest at all. Can't even say it was good for their high prices. Fried Fish was not appealing to look at. One was undercooked & soggy (slimey/wet). Grits were crunchy. Blackened fish was salty, not seasoned. Food came out sporadically as if they have never catered to a large party at all. Then if your order wasn't correct it took just as long for the corrections as people were still receiving their food here and there. Taste and quality for the price was below subpar. Alcoholic beverages were strong but no taste (flavor) if that could even make sense. Just a complete waste of money to be honest. There are a lot of seafood and steak restaurants in Jacksonville and I will be perfectly fine if I don't visit this one ever again! I've had better tasting seafood at chain restaurants (CDs or LJS).
