I'm from south carolina and I wanted some soul food. I was very disappointed because the greens didn't have any meat in it. And it was salty the gravy and roast was terrible. I am very disappointed

I’d like to try them but every time I call to place an order so I won’t have to wait when I order in person no one answers and there’s no phone service to put you on hold.

Great Kind Staff the young man taking orders is very restful as well as the young lady. The food has Always been correct and HOT. THE NEW LOOK IT NICE AND the Building has been Always Clean when we visit.

I've had this restaurant twice so far, uber delivery. First off the food is amazing. Had the fried chicken, roast, mash potatoes, yams and Mac n cheese which is the best I've had from a restaurant. Same with the chicken, was Hella hot and tasty. Recommended this spot to 2 people so far. Yall keep up the good work

Incredibly FRESH food. 4 of us had lunch today for a business catch up and the meals were fantastic. Simple menu, simple recipes done really, really well. We each had 4 very different lunches, and they were all off the charts. Good to see restaurants like this existing. Worth a visit if you're in town and a must for locals.

Hubby and I ended up here by accident kind of, but so glad we did. The place is clean and welcoming. The service was super nice and helpful, and the food!! I have seen them on The Scoop FB channel, but didn't know they were close to where we were at the time, and the reviews were mostly outstanding, and I will say, they are now on our list and we will be back. Orders were Rib dinner with Mac and cheese and greens and my husband is not a fan a Mac n cheese and he said he would get this as a side , but all the other sides we had were so good. The cabbage, the potato salad and the cornbread, all were great.
Next time, the fried chicken, since that's what everyone talks about. The fish is outstanding!!!!

Had the 3 piece dark meat fried chicken. Along with potato salad and cabbage. The chicken was one of the best I have had in Jax. The skin was thin and crispy and the meat was juicy. I am coming back to try their oxtails. The smothers pork chops was good too!
