You guys gave us the best meal ever. Smothered pork chops with hot and sour tender, Mac and cheese was so nasty. But my favorite was the cabbage. My mom’s from Philly and needed one great dish yo go home and tell her friends about, the ribs did it. She was praising them the entire time. Bravo to your staff.

The food is delicious. Fried pork chops so tender. Definitely recommend.

The ox tails, collard green, candy yams, and and Corn bread was delicious. And the price was very reasonable compared to other Soul food restaurants.

The food was excellent I had good company so we didn't mind the wait for our food but they need to hire some more waitresses or some more assistance in the back kitchen to get the food out sooner there was a line of about 8 to 10 people waiting for food and this took so long I know the people only had a certain amount of time for a lunch break so this is the need to hire more people quickly! What food was good call my young man did all he could to accommodate us and see about the people at the counter same person was saying about waitressing taking money for the food at the front counter, there's only so much one person can do hire some help

As soon as I walked in I could smell the rancid grease in the kitchen, the dining room was absolutely filthy, looked like it hadn't been swept in a while, tables not wiped down etc etc. So I didn't order anything, if it's this dirty in the front of house then you already know that the back of house is 10 times worse!

Shut Em Down restaurant has great food, their representatives have excellent customer service etiquette, and the atmosphere is welcoming.

I want to keep it simple, the restaurant was clean and very inviting! The person that took our order was delightful. The food had no flavor. It was cooked to perfection but lacked taste. No seasoning at all. The corn bread was the best part of our 40$ meal. The meatloaf looked like a roadside special and the mash potato seemed instant. So gritty. Y’all have what it takes and I seen the flow but the taste isn’t there. No flavor.
