Based on their wonderful reviews, I wanted to try one of their coffees. I drove over there today - March 11, 2025 - to discover that they are no longer in business as of March 9, 2025. Heads up!

We practice softball over here every Saturday and stopped at smilies honestly not even sure if they were open (outside was a little deceiving) OMG I’m new to Jax and have tried at least 10 different coffee shops, smilies is now my number 1! Got an ice toasted marshmallow macchiato with caramel and it’s delicious! The barista (super sweet, blondish hair) suggested the caramel add as I was torn between a couple drinks. 10/10 no bitterness, will be here every sat and if I lived closer would be there every day.

I have been a coffee addict for years. I wanted a break from the big places, and Dunkin’s lattes and ice coffees are sickeningly sweet. I got an iced coffee (the “Dreamer”), a shake (cotton candy), and a couple muffins. The coffee is sweet without upsetting my stomach! The shake is weird because it doesn’t taste like ice cream but it’s still creamy. And the muffins, were muffins. Overall it’s a bit of a wait but a welcomed change!

I mostly go to this drive-thru for the great coffee, but I've never been disappointed by anything they have to offer, including pastries! They're fast and the employees are cheerful. I've lost track of the punch cards I've filled to get free drinks. Keep it up, Smilies!

I asked for for the Carmel frozen coffee, they didn’t have so he referred me to some white chocolate coffee and it ended up being regular coffee no sugar. I am very disappointed. They didn’t even think about my drink. Please do not buy from them. They inconsiderate and then don’t answer the phone when you call back I could come right back Because I have to be to work, but I am very disappointed never again Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts

First time trying a beverage from here, I was so happy with my order I got the dreamer and it was so tasteful and I had a few request and question and I was helped with the best customer service and my coffee has all request. Definitely my new coffee shop to go to!

Have been going here multiple times a week since they opened, still my favorite coffee in Jax. The people are always great too. I do wish they would bring back the punch card or introduce another system for rewards, nice to get a little loyalty gift from time to time!

You place your order at the window and they make it super fast and delicious! This was my first time trying it and I got the blended original Irish cream. It was very tasty, but I would order the small next time because the medium was much larger than what I needed.

Absolutely love this coffee shop! They have the best dirty chai. I really enjoy the breves and unique flavors. My kids like the kids drinks and smoothies. Occasionally, the drive through wait is a bit long, but only because they provide really great service and take their time getting orders correct.
