If you're looking for a spot with incredible Mexican food and exceptional service, look no further than this hidden gem! Don’t let be fooled by the small size from the exterior fool you—this place is packed with big, bold flavors and outstanding quality.

I ordered to-go tacos tonight and was absolutely blown away. Had the steak, chorizo, crispy white flaky fish, and garlic shrimp tacos were cooked to perfection. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the tortillas deserve a special shoutout—thick, hearty, and full of authentic corn goodness. The double-layered tortillas held everything together beautifully without falling apart.

What really stood out, besides the food, was the amazing customer service. I called in with no idea what I wanted, and the staff was incredibly patient, walking me through the menu and answering all my questions with genuine friendliness. They had my food ready in just five minutes, and the efficiency was impressive.

All in all, this tiny spot is an absolute must-try for taco lovers. The flavors, service, and quality make it a standout. I will *definitely* be back. Go check them out—you won't regret it!

The fajitas were amazing but the horchata tasted off to me and I been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and this one is the worst horchata I had in my opinion but I loved the fajitas!!!

I had three tacos including scallop (voodoo), chimichurri, and fish. The scallop one was absolutely incredible and I will be back for more. The rest were delicious too but not as good as the standout that was the voodoo. Vibes were great. There was only one waitress and she was running around like crazy cos it got unexpectedly busy but super sweet and the service was great. Will be back.

Rude and loss my future business. Went there after class to grab some food. I ordered surf and turf but before I paid I changed to a red taco. The guy to me I had get the surf and turn because it was already made. And I said how if I didn’t pay yet ? Then said I could buy a 3rd taco if I really want it. So I was polite and explained it’s best not to do stuff like that until a customer pays because ppl change their minds. He said if I want I could leave because he wasn’t going back and forth with me. Then said I could wait until five pm (while it’s 3pm). Why would I wait for a manager come when I didn’t even pay for the food? That makes zero sense. Why would I wait two hours and What will I say? ā€œHey I didn’t pay for this order and I want thisā€. I am not boo boo the fool šŸ˜‚. So you loss business and future business and possible referrals because of your unprofessionalism. That’s not how you treat people. Now if I paid for it, waited and then decided on something different then I would understand. But now you have tacos that aren’t paid for and loss business. That’s not how you do good business friends. I don’t suggest ppl go here and now I’ll just go to another location and get tacos šŸ˜‚

My husband and I were looking for some hot fresh Mexican food to end our Sunday night, we were pretty hungry and went to Solazo because it closed at 10pm. Our waiter was pleasant but that was maybe one of the few things that were okay about our visit.

I’m pretty basic when I go to a New Mexican place and always get the fajitas to see if the food is any good. This is the first time that I didn’t get any rice with my fajitas. I’m not sure if it’s just me or if my expectations where high so correct me if I’m wrong but I thought it was standard to get rice with your fajitas as well as beans guacamole sour cream , tortillas and lettuce and cheese. Anyway no rice only 2 tortillas. The beans were how I knew that this isn’t a good Mexican place. It tasted like powdered beans and Ive never even had powdered beans but somehow that’s what I was getting. You can’t get beans wrong that’s just no. Guacamole wasn’t even that , cheese seemed old lettuce not fresh, fajitas itself was another thing that was okay because it was hot but not memorable, best thing I had all night was my coke and my husband agreed, he got a dish that I forgot the name of and was cold on the inside. Needless to say we will be sticking to our go to Mexican place.

Where do I begin?
I called 4 times leaving work to place a take out order. No answe! You used to be able to order online. (No longer available)
I went to the counter to place my order. And stated I’ve been trying to call. She stated I don’t even know where the phones at.
I continued to place my order. Beef burrito supreme with lettuce tomato and sour cream in the middle. She stated they don’t do that! That’s been my order since y’all have been open. Rice and bean on the side. Carnitas taco, lite cilantro.

Well lo and behold everything was inside the burrito rice and beans. My husband does not like beans!. And my taco had enough cilantro on top for five tacos.

Not sure what’s going on. And it was not because you were busy you had one table and two at the bar. Sorry to see this!

I love this place . The tacos are each unique with a blend of flavors and spices. I loved the large carne burrito and unique, thick salsa. I miss the mango pico de gallo that I saw in California. Not to complain, because this is the best fast casual type Mexican restaurant in the area. I wish that I knew it was there when I lived there, but I'll be back at least once per month. PS I love the "borracho" figure from Loteria on the back of the store.

Absolutely amazing. We live in the neighborhood and always drive by- but never came in until today. It used to be a crusty breakfast spot but has turned into an amazing Mexican restaurant. I’m shocked it isn’t completely full at all times! Food and service was great. 100/10

The food was good. I grabbed the huitlacoche taco and the red (birria) taco. Both were good, but I was disappointed that my corn smut taco literally had none. Maybe just change the name to canned corn taco.

The coolest little taqueria around. Their birria tacos are amazing. They have specialty street tacos that are phenomenal. The staff remembers you and makes you feel like an old friend. Hands down, my favorite in Jax!

I really appreciate the separate vegan section, it made ordering a lot easier. The portions are VERY generous & everything I had was seasoned very well. Definitely worth the visit !

Our waitress was amazing, she gets 5 stars, but she was left on her own unfortunately. She was knowledgeable about the food and even shared the 2 bonus salsas with us. The tacos are huge and the meat was super flavorful!

Dietary restrictions: She knew that the allergy I had, was no where in the restaurant without having to ask the kitchen staff.
