Stopped by after work, had aeen the reviews and decided to give it a try. Ordered chitterlings, greens, Mac&cheese with white rice. The presentation was good, but the rice was not cooked completely, the greens had hair in them and the Mac & cheese didn't have enough cheese. Service was good, but still room for improvement.
Lunch today was awesome from Soul of Main Street with Mark Benito Corbitt Million Liver and onions mac n cheese, green beans, mac n cheese, yellow rice and toast. My coworker had seared red snapper, yellow rice, collar greens, mac n cheese and toast Dessert!!!!! Cheese Cake. Go by and place your order you want be disappointed

I and 2 friends took a day trip to Jacksonville and on a whim, my buddy found this place on Google. The food was fantastic. Expect home cooked food with service like you'd expect at home. Fried pork chops, collard greens, the yams were like dessert, memorably good corn bread, etc. This soul food was good both for our stomachs but yea, even more importantly, our souls. I would definitely return.
