Soul Style Barbecue

My work brought it in catered. There was brisket, sausage, mac n cheese, coleslaw and beans. I read reviews prior to making my plate. I put a little of everything on my plate to try. Everything was good. Maybe not outstanding, but good. Although, the beans do taste like they're just Bush beans from a can.

I had my first order, at Soul Style BBQ, delivered by UberEats, on Thursday, 05-25-2023. I'm so sorry to say that I was really disappointed with my order. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich w/fries. The pork was very dry, fatty, and too tough to eat; had to throw it out. I ordered coleslaw; it was very mushy and runny, not crisp, and it had a weird overly sweet taste. However, the fries and the Uber delivery were good; but $30+ is a lot to pay for only edible French fries and partial sandwich and coleslaw. I'm sorry I couldn't give Soul Style BBQ a better rating. - Barbara

I found this place under 2 names. Little confusing located inside Windham garden at Jacksonville area. But service and food are great.

Absolutely hands down the best BBQ I've had in Jax. Fantastic ribs,corn and bread. 5 orders and I'm still ordering the same thing.yet to try the other stuff

I try not to let bad reviews stop me from trying something new. And there’s very few places that do burnt ends.The good: the burnt ends were great, not a huge amount but that’s on food cost I assume. The amount I got with two sides is worth the price. The greens were well seasoned.The bad: the mac and cheese is bland, and they forgot my ranch.The ugly: my chicken tenders where burnt. Not a little crispy, not a little darker than usual, straight up burnt. I get a slight overcooking but that’s not what I got. The one bite I took (cause maybe it was just a darker breading or seasoning) tasted like charcoal and old oil. And they forgot my ranch lol.If I order from here again I just know now, burnt ends/greens only ??‍♀️

I ordered 1/4 chicken plate that comes with 2 sides. I choose mac and chees and baked beans as my 2 sided and paid additional for the collards. The collard greens was cold, tasteless and no meat. It tasted like they just boiled the greens and added absoulety no seasoning. The mac and cheese, was NOT mac and cheese and was pasta with white sauce. The only thing decent was the baked beans. This was a huge disappointment.

Ordered on a food delivery app. The food was great we had brisket, chicken and tried 5 different sides. We also had carrot cake which was some of the best I've had. This reminded me of Kansas City, Missouri style BBQ.

i ordered this on ubereats and it was DISGUSTING. I am not sure what part about this was "soul style" but it had absolutely no "soul" or flavor. don't waste your time or money with this place.

Waitress was super nice. The BBQ was terrible. Had the pulled pork and brisket. Both were lacking in every department.

Missing items and wrong items. Don't recommend.

Brisket was way too fatty and the "portion" waaay to small for the price. Feel sorry for the sign flipper he has employed on the corner. There are a lot of car accidents there. With him yelling and wearing a green suit and trying to grab peoples attention at that crazy intersection is just careless of the owner. I digress though. For the price and portions I would only suggest this place if it were open Christmas day or some other day that everything is closed down and you have no food at the house.
