This is my 1st choice when it comes to seafood restaurants. Sadly we are a little bit far from this place but it's definitely worth the trip. When you first enter the restaurant you will be greeted and you the special will be on the left so make sure to look there because you don't want to miss the goodStuff! This place is huge, they have a bar at the back corner of the restaurant and the rest is a seating area. We've been here 4 times and I have tried their blackened shrimp and the way they seasoned their shrimp is just perfect! The steamed oyster was delicious and I can just eat that everyday! We also tried the fried gator and at first I wasn't sure but I'm so glad I tried it because it was so good! The sides that comes with the food is fries, coleslaw and hush puppies, I don't eat a lot of coleslaw but this coleslaw is great! This place is definitely worth a visit! You can tell that their seafoods are fresh and that's a must!

Out and about and since it was good Friday we needed seafood. This popped up on my search and so decided to try. So happy I did. The choices were all good. In fact we will need a second try just to taste other entrees. I got the trigger fish with rice, beans, fried collards and a beur blanc. Not what I would expect for jax and it was so good. The fish was fresh and that combo just worked. My wife got shrimp po boy and again delicious. Have no hesitation on this place. It delivers!

This is by far one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever been to and my new favorite location for relaxing and having a good time with my family and friends.
Stopped by for raw oysters. There was a child's birthday party going on so it was loud. The oysters were medium sized but didn't have that salty taste we were looking for. Would have tried something else on the menu but the noise was too much.Kid-friendliness: Oh yes they are kid friendly.

Disappointed. Came in middle Sat afternoon for first time, appeared slow. However, still took almost two hours from start to finish to have a late lunch, early dinner. After two beers and watching women's golf, continued waiting for wife's fish dinner and my fish club. Food was great, once it came. Just needed to allow more time than anticipated. Not sure when we'll set aside another two hrs for mid day meal, let alone lunch or supper?
Really good food, fried shrimp and oysters for me deviled crab and oysters for wife. The provided ample supply of very good food!

Mediocre food at too high of a price. Had to wait a long time once we ordered. The waitress was courteous and kept us informed and kept our glasses full, but the restaurant was not very busy, and there was no reason for the food to take so long. The fries were tasty. The shrimp tacos were good size but smothered with too much slaw. The burger was filling. The fried gator had too much coating and hid the gator, and chewy gator is not enticing. I don't go here very often and definitely won't be going back. There are too many other options, so don't settle for mediocre.
