Food was very meh -- cheese on the mac tasted like it was just deli slices of cheese from publix and food was not hot.
Servers seemed overwhelmed or like they don't really wanna be here.
Cool space, but needs some work. Maybe we came on a rough night, but not sure if we'd come back.

Tried out Spliff's Gastropub on Old St Augustine tonight. The four of us really enjoyed our drinks and meals. We had a Mio Sangria very tasty and well balanced, two different stouts and a sour. All the drinks were great and they have a fantastic selection of not only beer but cocktails as well which is so nice as hubby loves beer and me not so much. We also tried the pretzel bites and the sausage cheese sauce was the star. The Loaded Chips were so yummy with goat cheese, candied bacon and balsamic. I could have just eaten a huge platter of those lol. We had the Rise and Bake burger, patty melt and the pork belly sandwich which was an awesome recommendation from the very attentive and welcoming bar tender. Everyone finished there plates because it was all so tasty. The fries were good as well and the Mac n cheese was good but with spiral noodles. I am more of an old school elbow noodle Mmac n cheese kind of girl. The pork belly sandwich had a delicious sweet homemade BBQ sauce ? We will definitely be back.

So sad... first-timer... last timer. My wife was so excited for the dueling pianos. Upon entering, it had great potential. First thought, another great place to watch football. The main hostess was super friendly. She asked if we were first-timers ("yes we are"). Told us, "you can sit anywhere, and we'll come to you." We waited for a menu, with no luck. My wife went to the bar and grabbed it. Menu looked appealing... We sat there... and sat there... There were 3 bartenders and 4 people in the bar section when we sat down. 2 left and two arrived after. Bartender immediately took the order of the 2 that arrived 5 minutes after us. One was talking to 2 other folks, one was cleaning up the table next to us. The other one, just standing around. After 10-15 minutes of looking at them and the menu, we left. I can't say anything about their food, but the inside had potential. BUT, the service sucked!

Enjoyed the menu variety. Good amount of options and twists to usual pub food.

The Patty Melt was very good and so was the broccoli. The Mac n Cheese was mediocre

Worst burger ever! Dry and tiny for 18.00. Sure did not look like the pictures. The fries were amazing so sort of made up for the burger. It was a very clean restaurant! Really no “service “as you order at the counter.

Stopped by with a friend from out of town on our way back to jax from st augustine... hands down the BEST patty melt i've ever had! Super friendly staff, we sat at the bar and had awesome conversation with the beertender! Love all the options for beer. I'm telling everyone about this place.

We were greeted at the door with a pocket stand make-shift podium holding the menus that said - take one; put your order in at the register; and pick a seat.

Specifically, we asked if we put in the appetizer would it come before the meals? Assured the appetizer would be first, it arrived with the meals. ?

What you see as all 4 photos together with captions totals 75.28. Going through the Spliff's Gastropub training at the register, I was then advised, you can leave the tab open to add more later as an option. I was then given my number and advised how to install it on the table stand for food delivery. Then after tipping I took the three glasses liquid -full to my own table. ?

My entertainment was watching the couple behind me start their Spliff's training. They came in grabbed menus and took a seat. Took them a few minutes sitting at their table being ignored by staff to realize, this was a fast food pay-first place. They missed reading the instructions at the menu podium. The poor staff then had to stop and give them a remediation training. I guess we can't all get passing grades on our first visit.

I've been twice. The people are very nice but we could hear loud music from the kitchen that conflicted with the music they played in the resturant and it was not comfortable eating in that atmosphere.

I have been twice now. Nice clean place. Good beer, whiskey and bourbon selection. The food is fresh and unique flavors but prepared well and fun sides not just fried bs. 8-31-24 loaded kettle chip disappointed me. Bag kettle chips, light flavorless toppings and sour balsamic glaze, bacon was not candied for 15.00$? Cucumber salad same I'm so sad.

Great burger place. Especially for luncheons. I take my customers here and they love it. Try the patty melt and fries. There is no fry sauce available unfortunately. Good atmosphere

Sat at bar and was ignored by bar tender. Someone finally came over. We ordered 2 beers. Took forever so we left. Also smelled like mildew.

(Bayard location) nice bar and hangout spot. vape friendly. dog friendly. nice staff and excellent service (shout-out to April and Rico). phenomenal burgers and fries. great drinks. nice beer selection.
