Spliff's Gastropub Bayard

This visit was a take out visit so my expectations are never as high as eating in. My daughter's burger was made as requested but her buns were burnt. My burger was not even close to what I ordered and went directly into the trash. Both of our fries were barely cooked and those also went to the trash. Maybe it is an off day but after spending over $50 on food that could not be eaten, it is a huge let down. The service was top notch, just the food was really below what I usually get from here.

I have taken colleagues here for lunch several times and the food has always been excellent! The sandwiches and burgers are amazing! They are rarely busy, but with how good the food is I don't see how they don't have a line out the door every day.

Probably the best bar in my area! Check out this amazing mimosa flight. Food and staff are great too. If you want a chill atmosphere and some good bites, check it out.

I came to this location today and ordered the loaded chips while waiting for order I ordered a drink and started talking to the bartender very polite about couple moments later my food came out it was absolutely incredible I asked the cook if he made this for me he said yes sir very polite and energetic its the first time Ive been to jacksonville and seen good reviews about this location and it did not disappoint definitely will recommend to others

We wanted burgers tonight and wanted to try somewhere new to us. We saw good reviews for Spliff’s, so that’s where we went! We have a 3 & 5 year old, I wasn’t sure how kid friendly it would be, but it was great! They have kids menus and crayons for them to color. They turned on a kids movie for them. I got the patty melt and my husband got a cheeseburger with bacon. My kids got a cheeseburger. It was all delicious and the fries were really good! The people are friendly. I would highly recommend!

Came in for the first time 8/14 for lunch really excited about the place. Sarah the bartender (purple and black short hair) was not very polite which made us decide just to order our food Togo. Great food, better service would make this place 5 stars!

Side note. Couple at the bar had their dog running around the restaurant I’m all about pet friendly but this was a little extremely awkward.

First visit, left SUPER bummed. Staff, vibe, beer selection and music, all great but the food was OVERPRICED and OVERCOOKED. A joint like this shouldn't have a $22 burger on the menu, lesson learned
