Great Food

I've lived in the U.S. for many years, but I felt compelled to share the outstanding service I received from Indie, who works at St. Marys Seafood & More on Old St. Augustine Road. Her demeanor, professionalism, and the tone of her voice were all truly next-level.

Even after finishing my meal and returning home, I found myself talking to family and friends about the wonderful experience she provided.

To the owner of the restaurant — I sincerely hope you'll consider a raise or recognition for Indie. She is an absolute asset to your team, and I wanted to leave this review to acknowledge the impact she made.

I love this restaurant

Great service, atmosphere and food! Don’t get me started on the boom boom shrimp!!! Yummy my absolute favorite! If you haven’t been to St Mary’s before, what are you waiting for! Go!

Saint Mary's was a place we found while traveling and looking for a seafood lunch. They had a lot of menu choices including seafood and many other options. In all honesty we didn't see much that looked good to us but the server helped us decide on what to order. I had blackened scallops and my wife had deviled crab. We also ordered some fried green tomatoes. It wasn't bad food but it wasn't the best we've had either. I suppose it depends on what kind of seafood you like. Much of the seafood offerings were deep fried so if you like that you would enjoy Saint Mary's. We found the service, menu, and food were lacking the wow factor.

Friendly atmosphere - Good food - prices are reasonable - families are welcome - people with disabilities can enjoy an evening there too.

Parking: If you can’t get a parking space close to the building, there is ample parking and a slight walk.

I've been here twice over the last month and I used to be a regular back in the day but the last two times I've come there both of my dishes were way over seasoned. I had the stuff flounder and came back about a week later and had broiled flounder. It didn't used to be this bad. I guess they have new Cooks. I don't know their location at the world golf village used to be good too. Maybe it still is the baymeadows location has always sucked. I usually don't write many reviews, but I figured the owners need to know the truth. I've lived in Jacksonville my whole life and I've lived in Mandarin the last 30 years I know what good seafood taste like !

This is just a good family owned restaurant with great food and excellent service. Everything on the menu is solid. Excellent prices with large portions.

The food and service is great. I've had take-out often for lunch & dinner, but the experience eating in is even better. The waitress shared all the details on drink & meal specials. The shrimp basket is great because you get a lot of shrimp 1 side & 2 hush puppies. The french fries are crinkle cut & wonderfully crispy. The whole fried snapper is great because it was fresh, crispy, and came with 2 side orders and hush puppies. The cocktail menu has various options. Overall it was a great experience and I look forward to going back and trying something new.
