Very nice Server and atmosphere. Food is just not good. I ordered the Turkey Pesto Sandwich and the turkey didn’t taste like real turkey, it was like very thick soft deli meat. I didn’t finish it. The Adobo chicken was okay, just a little over seasoned. My friend ordered the dumplings (pork) and sent them back because it was very fatty meat (her own personal taste) She got a trade of the veggies dumplings and those were not eaten in total either because of the taste. It was like veggies trying to mimic meat and were a bit grainy. For the cost of everything the quality wasn’t up to par. Server was very kind man though and understanding. Sadly, won’t come here again.

I ordered over phone was told 10 mins when I got there the order was never placed. Staff disregard me waiting over 30 mins for a take out. It seems they were more attentive to other races.
Don't be fooled by the reviews—most of them are from the old restaurant. The "new" café feels lifeless, dark, and musty, with an inconsistent interior design ever since they switched names and/or ownership. It's a shame because I used to enjoy coming here.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, and it was completely inedible. The pork was bland, barely any BBQ sauce, and instead of properly melted cheese, they just chopped up slices of American cheese into square blocks—for $18. There’s no effort or care in the food anymore and it's honestly a bit sad.
The staff was friendly, and I did get a refund, which is the only reason I'm giving two stars. I truly hope things improve for this place.

Very disappointed.
The only place we could find open to eat with our kids. No children options, barley any options for us. Apparently everything online was outdated. All around unpleasant experience besides the people. They were nice.

The overall dining experience was underwhelming. While the chicken adobo was decent, the lumpia and pork with rice lacked depth of flavor and could have used more seasoning. The dishes felt like they were missing the authentic cultural richness I was expecting. Additionally, the atmosphere was lacking, as the owner was present but not particularly engaging, despite the restaurant not being busy at the time. I was hoping for a more inviting and flavorful experience.

the menu is like 4 dishes the food has no flavor and they are tiny servings place was super empty the only that was good was the gator rangoons but the menu it shows and pictures are from the old place before they redid the restaurant and they must not have any ac because it was extremely hot in there I wouldn't recommend going.

I ordered the blackened fish, yucca fries and beef sinigang soup. The soup was good, the yucca fries were inedible ( very hard and dried out). The on- line menu shows a blackened white fish for $12. What I received was a big piece of salmon sandwich, $20. When I inquired about the price I was told that's from an old menu. " Buyer beware"

Used to order to go from you guys all the time but now you guys charge an online fee to order online? What is even is that?
Panfried dumplings were greasy and not crispy on one side like they are supposed to be. Most dishes come in Corel cereal bowls which is just odd and lacking in any presentation. I keep going to enjoy the sunny corner spot and the drinks. The wine and mimosas are very enjoyable. Perhaps I just haven't found their signature dish.

I stopped in here today. I haven't been here in about a year. Super disappointed by the changes. Menu changed (no biggie, but not great). The best way to describe the service is sad. Employee seemed like he was miserable and had no issue showing that to guests. Food was terrible. Pork belly was not crisp. Portions have gone down significantly, yet the prices have not. The price for what I received was disgusting. I am all for paying top dollar for great food, but this is just a rip off. Hopefully some of the comments will inspire change. Hoping so.

My man took me here last night before the Jhene Aiko concert. It was our first time, and they did not disappoint. The host we had was so sweet. We mentioned that we were going to the concert as my birthday present and when I tell you she went above and beyond to make me feel special! She took our photo for us, and even brought me a slice of cake with a candle and sung happy birthday. The food is soooo good too! Also drinks were strong and fairly priced. We are definitely coming back again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
Jacksonville, if this is what you think good pokie is, you need to get out and travel. I read some of the other comments and decided to give it a try while in town. More rice than two people need. The salad was shredded cabbage and carrots out of a bag. There was less than a tablespoon of seaweed salad. A few edamame beans and a small pile of tuna. The sauce was creamy, different than normal but tasty. Also a 1st, knife and fork not chop stick. The lumpia tasted good and were crispy but very small. I ordered 4 and combined wouldn't make the size of one egg roll. I have had lumpia all around the Pacific and states and never seen this thin.

Horrible and disgusting. Service was even worse than the food. No greeting, no smiling- just stared at us. Didn’t order an entree because they cook with bullshit seed oils. Don’t know how you’re gonna advertise superfoods but then drench them in canola oil. Gotta a pita and hummus plate. The hummus was good but tasted store bought and my pita chips were rock hard.
We are in Jacksonville for a conference and thought this restaurant sounded like a good option for a healthy lunch. First, there was only one person working the register, taking food orders, and delivering food to tables, so it took several minutes for him to catch up to take our order. I ordered the "chicken plate" which came with rice, grilled zucchini and creamed spinach and kale. I didn't care for any component of the dish. The rice was very sticky/over cooked. And there was a lot of it. The chicken was definitely boiled and then "grilled" before plating. It tasted like boiled chicken with a little seasoning on top. The creamed spinach/kale tasted like it was prepared with Kraft singles. My husband ordered the steak sandwich, which tasted okay, but the steak was full of fat. We did try the vegetable and beef lumpia, which wasn't bad. The sauce that came with them was the best thing we had. We tried the ube ice cream because how often do you get the chance to order ube ice cream? It was good, but tasted like coconut and not very much like a sweet potato.
