I came here a couple times when I got to town because it was right next to my hotel. Now that I am in an apartment it's about 20 minutes away, and I tried two other sushi restaurants close by, but they didn't compare. So, I drive the extra distance just for this.

Best sushi in Jax hands down. I’ve had this place many, many times for takeout and have been blown away by the quality of the fish. And as many times as I’ve had it, it’s NEVER missed, consistently quality! I moved from NYC over a year ago, and was very very close to giving up on the sushi here in Jax and I am so grateful for this place! Thank you Sushi Q!!

I just had the most amazing affordable sushi meal here with sake and Sapporo beer. They have a $22 dinner box that is perfect. Sushi is restorative and after traveling two days from Kansas City I really needed it. The atmosphere is casual and fine.

I often have lunch here. The staff is very polite and the rolls are delicious. Excellent prices and free clear soup. I usually order the Shrimp Tempura Roll, Fish Tempura Roll, and either the Godzilla or Boston roll. The ingredients are high-quality and everything tastes great. I definitely recommend it! Thank you!

A solid 4.5 stars on the food, but just 2 for the service. We came in on a Saturday night a little before 9:15pm, seemed the workers were busy cleaning up. The whole experience felt really rushed and awkward, and we felt unwelcome the whole time. We quickly finished our meals, understanding they would be closing in 45 minutes. We had two servers assisting us, with one lady being significantly friendlier and more welcoming than the younger server (she was very sweet and assured us we didn’t need to rush). Egg rolls were accidentally brought to our table, which we admittedly assumed were extras from the kitchen, until we saw them on the receipt. The younger server insisted we had ordered them (definitely hadn’t), but the other server sided with us and we got the charge removed. Not to mention the younger server seemed a little put out that we’d stepped on the floors that had just been cleaned.
We were in and out in around 10 minutes, no more than 15. Great food, served quickly, one server very kind and helpful. I completely understand when closing soon, those working just want to finish up their tasks before heading home. But with 45 minutes until closing, I feel this was plenty of time and the rush/unwelcome energy was unnecessary. If coming in at 9:15 is such a bother, please consider changing your hours to close at 9 instead of 10. Not the best experience, likely won’t be back.

I heard how good this was and I see by many 5* reviews people like it so may try it again but first time I was there the waitress was too busy for us. Had to call her over a couple times she wasn’t very attentive Brought out a warm bottle of beer so I asked for ice so she brought out a brimming full mug of one, plopped it down and left. Had to get rid of ice to make room for beer. Ordered chicken habachi and chicken way overcooked and tough. Not impressed at all.
