I really hate to have to do this, but I’m at my wits end with the LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE at this place. I read a review from 6 months ago by Lizzy & it literally rings true to my experience EVERY SINGLE TIME I visit.
The lackluster “greetings” when certain people walk in (I say this because they hold long drawn out conversations with certain customers & some, like myself, barely get two words). The very poor attitudes don’t match the quality of the food AT ALL.
I’m literally contemplating if I want to address this because, it being a family owned company, I’m quite sure my concerns will fall on deaf ears. Also I frequent this place spending $20 every other day so I don’t want any bad blood.
But this staff is VERY RUDE…mainly the tall female with the short dirty blonde haircut a few others in there as well. I very rarely have an excellent customer service experience in this place. Maybe 2 times out of 10.
I’m sure they don’t care, but I will def discontinue spending money on sweets every few days if this behavior continues.

Visited here a couple weeks ago for the first time and I was absolutely blown away at how INCREDIBLE this place is. I got the blackberry French toast twist and the Homer doughnut. When I say those were the best baked goods I’ve ever had…I mean it!! The earl grey cupcake was phenomenal as well. Never had anything like it and I was so happy I tried it. I cannot wait to go back next time I come down to Jacksonville. 10/10 all around.

Sweet Theory Baking Co. is a fun and welcoming bakery that stands out for its creative approach to desserts and baked goods. The venue has a cozy, inviting feel that makes it a nice stop whether you are grabbing something to go or taking a moment to enjoy a treat on site.
The baked goods are flavorful and thoughtfully made, with a good balance of sweetness and texture. There is a nice variety to choose from, and everything we tried tasted fresh and well prepared. Presentation is also a highlight, showing care and creativity.

I recently ordered an incredible 10 inch yoga pants cake. It was incredible. Incredibly rich and delicious and it looked as beautiful as it tasted
The baked goods available are divine, but do not limit yourself to just the display items. There are a number of orderable goods and the office staff are truly incredible.
I had a mishap where I was unable to get my cake due to having the flu. I was prepared to pay for and then order another cake, but instead they refused to let me settle for an old cake and they made another to replace it so that we could have a fresh cake. It was a relief and I am glad others got to enjoy a piece of the twin of our cake we ultimately enjoyed.
The level of customer service and professionalism of the staff was incredible. They helped me understand how to manage the cake to minimize waste and helped me with a wonderful tenor and demeanor.
I have yet to eat anything from this bakery that was a missed mark and our cake was no exception. I have yet to have an interaction thats wasnt pleasant, and I say that as a person with social anxieties.
I can recommend this incredibly creative bakery without reservation or tribulation. My wife with a gluten intolerance gives it the highest of praise, and they deserve it. Its worth the stop of you need a something for the sweet tooth or a specialty cake that has look and taste.
We are gluten free and vegan, so its not easy to come by good desserts that meet our dietary needs. We had the cupcakes and the doughmuffs. Both items were delicious and had great consistency. Would recommend and return to this place.

Very nice allergen friendly bakery! All the donuts, cupcakes and lemon olive oil cake were tasty :) perfect for our family who are vegetarian and don’t eat eggs. The service was also top-notch. Highly recommend!
We dove an hour and a half to try the sandwiches and got desserts as a treat! It was well worth the drive. The staff was very friendly, they explained how they make everything fresh every day and the difference in all their sandwiches. We tried one of each! The coconut bacon was crazy good.
