I've never had a bad experience when going to Taverna. The staff are always bubbly and knowledgeable of the menu. Also the management staff are professional and welcoming. My husband and I usually buy a bottle of their best red wine; which by the way they have an extensive list of wines and cocktails. Also their bar has a vast selection of premium spirits. The atmosphere in Taverna also is a whole vibe. So if you're looking for a nice restaurant with reasonable prices, good food and drinks, along side a warm professional atmosphere. Then look no further than Taverna in San Marco it's our favorite place to dine.

Outstanding seafood. Chicken salad was delicious. Great menu selection. Outdoor seating was nice. Not sure if they were having plumbing issues when we visited in December but immediately walking into the hostess stand had a terrible bathroom smell.

Y’all have me throwing away expensive gluten free bolognese and eating last nights frozen gf pizza. Your gf noodles were hard and the sauce tasted strange tonight. (Saturday night, January 10).

Pizza at Taverna had crust blistered from the oven but toppings sparse on one half. Italian spot steamed with kitchen smells though our table by the window caught traffic noise during rush.

One of two of my favorite restaurants in Jacksonville. The food and drinks are amazing, yet not overly priced. I especially love the Orecchiette. I’m gluten free, and Taverna is probably the most accommodating of any restaurant in the area I’ve been too — which is saying something, since Italian isn’t the easiest food to make gluten free. I know my loved ones who enjoy going there, as well, but aren’t gluten free love it, too.

We were in Jacksonville for a concert and found this restaurant on Google, and we are so glad we did! It is elegant and has a great vibe. Everyone is so kind and friendly. We ate some of the best Italian food and drinks. Pictured: Fettucine in Red Sauce, Burrata Caprese, Moscow Mules and a Cosmopolitan 💕 We also had the Patatas Bravas, they were so well seasoned and delicious (ate it all before we could take a picture) Recommended 10/10 - great for date night/family dinner/girls night
