I visited this spot for the first time yesterday. I spent 29.03 on two meals. The price wasn’t the issue. The issue was that my wings tasted like they were fried in old grease, no seasoning or flavor. My son had the pink waffles and tenders. The tenders were very hard. He did not eat them. I was highly disappointed. I had to get back to work didn’t have time to return but I called and no answer 🤦🏾‍♀️

That's my breakfast spot. They talk about the hamburgers and the chicken, but I always get breakfast then I can't eat anything for the rest of the day until dinner.

Good spot to get some grub before a game or concert. Could have been a little more instructions on how to order, but it was fine overall.

Out East in Jacksonville Florida where to get a good economical quality quick filling meal is very convenient thanks to Avenue Grill. Thanks and Love shouts to Cookie the owner. Catch them for holidays and Avenue block parties and events where most often she gives back to the community with free breakfasts and brunch. Blessings Cookie we appreciate you and are definitely proud of you keep doing what you doing ????

Food is decent as far as the chicken and fries. I had a burger once it was just ok. It's not always open or open when it's supposed to be. The area has lots of undesirables and weirdo types just milling around outside. Personally I would go armed and not alone if possible and call the order in and go pick it up. I would eat here again for the chicken. Every time I go I feel like I'm taking my life in hands but I'm from an area such as this and it's just what you have to do to get the chicken. The people are not friendly so don't expect any sort of customer service or polite conversation, get your food, pay your money and get going.

I respect the concept of the food. My first time getting food delivered from The Avenue Grill was not the best. The chicken wings was not cooked and the sauce was more so paste about time I recieved it. I don't know if it was due to the reaturant or delivery but was not up to par. The chicken tenders were delicious real chicken not frozen store bought chicken. I truely respect that. The fries were soggy and were not cooked hard. If the fries were cooked hard it would have not been an issue. If you order for delivery ensure you put sauce on the side not on the chicken. I don't know if they sell the fried wings without breading, but if so ensure you order with or without breading. I tasted old grease as well in the chicken. I'm sure they change the grease but today wasn't the day. I would eat again here but just won't get it delivered again.

I've eaten here 3 times. Always good. Not a place I recommend dining I. Due to the outside atmosphere. Definitely a place I would keep my steel at the ready. Service is ok I definitely wouldn't call it friendly just business. Ring the bell order the food,pay for it get it and go.
