Have not been there yet, but my daughter brought us a roll-up cake(I'm sure it has it's own special name) that is delicious. So, we will soon be planning our own trip there.

If you’re in Jax, stop by @ the BEST Filipino bakery in town @ The Baker’s Son.
Great Folks, fantastic prices and endless options of yummy goodness, like all those things that you used to get back in the Philippines. Like Pandesal, Siopao, puto (rice cake)& kutchinta flan, pan de ube, Spanish bread & more. They also calamansi juice, coffee and halo-halo atbp…

Bought Kutsinta on 1/14 and was packed 1/11 supposed to be bad by 1/18, but the next day there were already spores… I spoke to two of their staff and they claimed to place them in refrigerator at night, if not sold. They told me, I should’ve placed it in the fridge. I explained there were no instructions on placing them in the fridge and they were selling them on room temp shelves. In the end they stated they’ll speak to the manager and give me a refund after taking information from me. I live an hour away, couldn’t bring it back. 8 days later, no refund assessed.

The Baker’s Son is one of my go-to bakeries—both the pastries and fresh-baked bread are consistently excellent, with the ube treats being my personal favorite. The halo-halo is always on point. The staff is warm and friendly, and while it can get busy, the quality makes it well worth the wait. 🥐💜🍨

Use to be a 5 star. But like any other restaurant/Bakery. Once the business gets established. The food quality declines.
ie. the ube bread used to stuff with a large amount ube. Now there’s barely any ube.

I tried seven different items—both sweet and savory—and every single one was perfect. Each had its own distinct flavor, balanced sweetness or salt, and tasted exactly how it should. It’s rare that everything from one bakery is this good. Prices were reasonable too. Highly recommend.

I always stop here whenever I am in Jacksonville. No complaints about the food. But the young lady cashier has an attitude. That little terminal pad of yours for payment was asking for A TIP. YOU'RE NOT A RESTAURANT that deserves that, I understand it may be built in to your entire kiosk, so anyway, she was watching me and I clicked NO TIP. And her attitude even became snotty. Even told me in a condescending tone to return the basket by the door. Not how you treat a long-time customers. Dont cheapen the actual servers who deserves tip. You ringing up my order and asking me to return the damn basket is not worthy of tips. Such entitlement.
