The Cuban Place Restaurant

Man, I really thought it'd be good, but nope, it was pretty bad. First off, besides us, there was only one other table, so you'd think everything would be fresh since it wasn't busy. I gotta say, the server was great, and she took our order super fast. As for the food, I got palomilla steak, white rice, black beans, and plantains. Well, the steak was dry and just warm, not hot, which means it had been sitting around and wasn't freshly cooked. All the other sides weren't fresh either. Anyway, what made it even worse was my order and my wife's ropa vieja, plus a can of soda, came out to $55 + an $11 tip, so $66 total. Yeah, we totally regret picking that place and we're definitely not going back.

Authentic Cuban food with great flavor—everything is well seasoned and tastes homemade. Portions are generous for the price, and the staff is always warm and friendly. The restaurant is consistently clean, peaceful, and welcoming. A solid spot I’m happy to return to.

Got 3 sandwhiches, the Cuban which was good, the steak one and that was very disappointing, very thin single slice of meat, and one other that was okay.
Biggest complaint was the bread to filling was extremely off. Had to take off half the bread and there was still too much bread.

Grew up in Miami and this is my favorite Cuban restaurant. Most authentic food I have had in years! If you love the real stuff this is the place.

Husband and I shared the Medianoche, papas frites, and frijoles negro with a side note of sweet plantains and I had a cortadito… delicioso!!! Service was excellent!

I grew up in Miami surrounded by authentic cuban food.

I got breakfast. This place has amazing authentic cuban food. The pork was cooked perfectly, moist and not dry. Coffee was nice and strong. Very flavorful. Great portions. Decently priced. Service was amazing. Very clean! I recommend them.
