The Cafe is a beautiful place to eat, drink coffee, read or meet with friends... The food was fantastic. The Steak and cheese wrap was very good and the Baby Blue salad was 10/10. We will be back!

Very first time getting to go here and I would highly only recommend eating inside and paying with card. Placed an order to go for the shrimp and grits and received a very small portion (see pic). For $16, I just expected a little more than a small takeout container. Also, I paid cash and was only provided dollars in return. When asked about the missing $0.65, the hostess stated that she didn’t have any loose change, so “SHE” decided to just round up instead. I don’t have an issue with her keeping the $0.65, but at least ask me if it’s okay before you make the executive decision to just pocket my extra funds. I would imagine she does to every customer paying in cash. And yes, I tipped her prior to ever paying for my meal because that too was in cash.

My daughter wanted to have a sweet 16 tea party, and the cafe events manager Louie went above and beyond to make sure she had the perfect time with her friends! Louie gets five stars!!!

After visiting the gardens we had our late lunch at the Cummer Museum Cafe. I had excellent quiche with red roasted peppers and my husband had croissant chicken salad sandwich, which, according to him, was flawless. My only complaint is our server who talked too much but did very little. Our table was not cleaned, she was very slow and rather loud.

Today I had one of the most delicious desserts I’ve ever tasted. It was the pistachio bread pudding at the cummer cafe. The flavor was incredible- pistachio with hints of cardamom and orange zest. It was perfectly moist and not too sweet, with a gorgeous creme anglaise on top. The chef, Claudia, knows how to cook. 10 out of 10.

Very disappointed is the best description. I had read a review on how amazing the crab cakes were, and the photos showed a lot of lump crab. Well not the truth!! They are paste like with hardly any lump crab. I should have sent them back. Basically a lot of breading.

My wife and I had lunch here while visiting the Cummer Museum. The cafe is located inside the museum. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, and our food items arrived as ordered. We were easily able to take a short break during our museum visit to eat and then seamlessly finish our viewing of the rest of the museum exhibits and gardens. We highly recommend this place for a nice lunch while visiting the museum.
Don't waste your money on the food here, all prepackaged and awful. Service and venue are great though.
