We decided to try this place on a whim, and wow—every dish blew us away! We had the French toast, chicken and waffles, crab cakes, and short rib hash, and each one was absolutely delicious.
We came with our 6- and 9-year-olds, and while it’s not exactly a “kid restaurant,” the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us—offering sauces on the side and making small tweaks without hesitation. It made the whole meal that much more enjoyable.

Found The District on a. Google search and what a find! Hidden deep the neighborhood of Springfield in Jacksonville FL it did not disappoint! A New Orleans feel in a northeast FL neighborhood. Decor is inviting, service staff, especially Arbor, attentive. We ordered a great variety of appetizers as we were grazing. Everything was delightful! They has a quaint indoor space and a huge outdoor area, including three air conditioned tents for a great venue! We will definitely be back!...read full review
I recently visited The District and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. I ordered a meal that turned out to be extremely spicy—far beyond what was indicated on the menu or mentioned by the staff. When I brought this up to management, they were completely unwilling to take the dish back or offer any sort of alternative. Their lack of concern and unwillingness to rectify the situation was truly frustrating.
