We decided to try this place on a whim, and wow—every dish blew us away! We had the French toast, chicken and waffles, crab cakes, and short rib hash, and each one was absolutely delicious.
We came with our 6- and 9-year-olds, and while it’s not exactly a “kid restaurant,” the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us—offering sauces on the side and making small tweaks without hesitation. It made the whole meal that much more enjoyable.
Huge thanks to the wonderful team for their kindness and great service. We’ll definitely be back soon!

My friends and I were there on Saturday for a birthday celebration. I went to the restroom and my hand was smashed between the bathroom door and the kitchen door as a waitress was coming out, causing immediate pain and swelling. Do you know what they did for me??? Offered me a bag of ice and an apology. That’s it…
I have been to this establishment several times and was excited to take the birthday girl there and have a great time and meal. My steak that was supposed to be medium rare (as stated on the menu) came out well done. I told the manager this and again nothing.. Needless to say, I won’t be back or recommend The District because of this experience.

Came here for brunch on my bday for the first time. The steak was cooked to perfection, the chicken and waffles was amazing, and the pear seasonal cocktail was delicious! My husband also tried the crab cakes and enjoyed them. We sat outside and the weather was prefect. An added bonus was the live music. When I go back I'd love to bring my crew and reserve one of the tents!

Man this place was GOOOOOD. Holy crap good, amazing good do not sleep on it good! Make you literally dream about the food good, it was genuinely delicious in every way, and that bread pudding is a MUST!! Super pet friendly, my girls were welcomed with a water bowl & the waitresses were very sweet!

Loved the place. Wednesday's special is a drink flight. So good. Hubby had the jumbo shrimp with a spicey cheese grits. I'm dieting so I ordered a side of asparagus with Parmasean. Ouside there are dinning tents !nd patio. Plants everywhere. Smoking just outside the patio gat !nd street parking + lot across the street. We will be back.

The service was outstanding. Our waiter was Chris and he was so pleasant, friendly and Very attentive. Our hostess Tara, Faythe just Absolutely Friendly ! The prettiest smiles and so pleasant and funny! I felt so comfortable. The food was delicious I was able to tell the cooks Mr. Tony, Mr. Eugene and Katrina how delicious the food was. We were Greeted by one of the owners Mrs. Ashley. I will make sure to tell everyone about your Restaurant
