Hard to find good Mexican food, coming from Tucson AZ. Stumbled upon this spot only open one day a week and fell in love. Seems they typically do catering, hence the one-day-a-week opening. In a commercial office building, not a typical restaurant location, so I was a little skeptical at first. Very friendly and courteous owner and the food was spot on. Had 3 tacos with all different meats, rice and beans, guac, and chips and couldn't be happier. I'll for sure be back and go for the hottest sauce next time.

This place is a hidden gem! Very clean, smells absolutely incredible inside and the food is AMAZING! Definitely worth checking out, the owners are very nice as well. :)

Had a wonderful lunch at The Mitt! If you love family owned places this is the perfect spot for you. Owned by a lovely couple, with help from their family, The Mitt is a cozy and welcoming environment. The food was fantastic, the rice extremely flavorful and many options to add to the tacos to customize it was great. Honestly I would go back just for those stone ground chips and queso. Their support for local artists is also heart warming with cute merchandise out on the counter. I will be going back to test their soon I mean who doesn’t want a churro waffle??

Tacos was outstanding and service was excellent. And the chef was nicely dressed
