Hamburger had no taste! Mostly bread- meat was not desirable. Don’t waste your money here at Callahan store.

I have been eating at your restaurant for 46 years and that was the worst steak in a sack I have ever had. I live 1300 Mi away and I make a point to eat one every time I come to town but I don't think I'll be getting another one period

We love the steak in a sacks here. Since we are moving we are going to miss this place. Their fries are real good as well. Here is a tip. If you think you might want an extra steak sandwich for lunch or dinner the next day, they reheat well.

Ordered the camel rider, received a turkey rider. Didn't find this until I drove home. Very disappointed and will not go back to this location.

Went in when it first opened in the morning and got my usual pita. They just opened up and the fryer wasn't ready so I didn't get my tots, they just opened so I wasn't mad but got my pita lol

Worse sheik restaurant in Jacksonville…I normally go to the one on Atlantic blvd …I’ve known this family business for 30 years… first time I went to beach blvd was 4 months ago and ordered 5 meals in total, the lady at the drive thru was rude to begin because she said we close in 45 minutes so don’t expect everything on the menu to be available…fast forward 15 minute wait she gave me all 5 drinks food followed…but after getting home my receipt had 6 meals on it. I called back she said she would make me another meal the next day but not refund the money…( if I wanted 6 meals I would have ordered 6)

I felt I needed to give them another try people make mistakes….this time I order 3 meals and a single steak pita…apparently she remembered me from complaining before…she charged me for 4 meals and a pita but again only gave me drinks and fries for the 3 meals…I questioned it..she said if I can give you food but my managers not here so I can’t refund money….angry I left decided I will call Louie at the Atlantic store the next day (I mean after all this is his family business and reputation ) …needless to say on this visit I get home and no pita…I went back waited 15 minutes at drive thru (with no one there) and this is what I get ( see photo) mind you a steak pita should be steak and onions plus the extra I paid for American cheese….
Point of the review….avoid this restaurant at all cost!!!!!

Ps I did call the owner on Atlantic and got no where with that…so 30 year customer lost here

One of the worst of the Sheik sandwiches I've ever been. Try to give then the benefit of doubt and try again after last time. Last time I went food was over cooked on a pita. Go back today and asked for a pita with fries instead of tots which they over cook as well, and the drive thru person stated "No we're not cooking fries only tots. Every other locations I've been to has given an alternative to tots. So best to avoid at all cost. Visit somewhere else. I'll eat at McDonald's before I go back to this establishment

I just ordered at the Sheik where Krystal's used to be located on Beach Blvd. The location is supposed to be open until 3:00 pm today. When I pulled up to the drive-thru at 2pm, I was told that I could only order burgers or pockets because they're fryer was already turned off. There was two other cars behind me. This to me signifies bad business practices.
The food is always decent but the people are not always accommodating. I ask for a little bit of the seasoning that they put on their fries because I like to have it with my burger. The woman said that she could not give any out unless I order fries, which I of course could not do because the fryer was off.

Here's another "Hidden Jacksonville Jem!!". I was born and raised in Jacksonville on the West Side and grew up on The Sheik!! 51 years later and they Still Don't Disappoint!! The staff at this location did a fantastic job from service, cleanliness of the restaurant to the quality of the food!! Hamburgers are still huge and best fries ANYWHERE all at an affordable price!! If there was a Sheik in Ocala, I would eat there every day! But for now, I'll drive as it is worth the drive all day long!! Thanks to ALL and we will be back!!

I came here a couple days ago I was driving and my blood sugar I think was low and I pulled in there cause I was a little dizzy and needed a drink and something to eat, but I only had five dollars on me so I went in there and seen what they have Lady was the nicest kindest, most caring person in the world at that moment and she helped me got me some food before I drove off she made sure I was ok and I will always be grateful to her. I did not know her name and I apologize. This is the right store on Beach Boulevard and I think only a couple people work there , so thank you the way you do business and the way you treat a human being with respect is mind blowing and I hope to lead the same way you do thank you and God bless y’all

Good food, this was the first time I ate at this Sheik's. But if you want some real good food, and I mean really good food go to the Sheik's in Green Cove Spring. That is the spot. Always great food and service.
