We stopped by for lunch because we wanted to try their vegan dogs. My boyfriend had the chili and I had the heaux heaux - they were out of cheese so we each got a free bag of chips.
The chili was good - made with quinoa! The Heaux was good but it had a lot going on between the pesto, onions and balsamic- I think it would have been amazing if I was a little tipsy. There was a flea market happening in the back room!

One of my favorite vegan restaurants in Jacksonville. Everything we’ve ever had here has been amazing- especially the boiled peanuts.
I love the walrus. My favorite place to eat or hang out. There aren’t too many fully plant based/ vegan places in Jax and this one is by far the best!

I'm not 100% a regular but I visit often when I'm in town. The staff is great Hannah and Joey are very hard working people. Check in regularly on customers, they engage in conversation and do a great job of making you feel “if not at home, extremely welcomed”. Good people, good atmosphere.

The Eggman sandwich and Dark Horse smoothie...absolutely perfect. Cool atmosphere and totally chill eatery. Lots on the menu, including cocktails and mocktails. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

From the owner to the staff, live bands, free movie on Sundays down to the food and beverages, nothing but peace and love!!!! I was introduced to the Big Choppa Sandwich, it hit all the right tastebuds!!! NOW, they have deserts back on the menu and oh boy oh boy and I can wash it all down with a mocktail. It's a 10/10 for me!!!!! Stop by when your in the neighborhood there is always entertainment and food!!!!!

The food was good, especially the sandwich, but the venue itself was even better. The menu is fully vegan with mostly traditional bar food. The venue is well-decorated and very casual in the best kind of way. Staff are incredibly friendly and there was an indie movie screening in the adjoining room.
Absolutely love the Walrus and their staff. I’ve been attending concerts, drag shows, and heaux downs since 2023, and will forever be grateful for the welcoming, weird, and wonderful atmosphere! Every event is nothing short of a good time and I deeply appreciate their commitment to building and maintaining community in Jax. Go get a smoothie and support this local gem ❤️
