I had never been to Riverside. I'd heard good things about The Loft and The Rogue but for some reason the guy who was checking id's wouldn't let me in. I have no idea what was wrong with him. Maybe he was having a bad night but he definitely ruined mine. Screw this place.!

Great if you get there early and don't have to wait in the line that stretches pretty far on the weekends. It gets pretty busy (lots of bodies with not alot of room to move) and is for a younger crowd.

I love the atmosphere and the music the one thing i can’t seem to understand is why they do not carry Hennessy at all at this bar.
Give that show Cheers kinda atmosphere. I promise you will love the vibe never any drama. Free entry premium drinks at reasonable prices

theLOFT is a King St staple. It firmly deserves it's place as one of the better nightclubs in Jacksonville. The staff are like family and are always friendly, they have daily deals on drinks, the music is bangin, and it reaallllllyyyy gets lit, although I'd recommend going on a Friday or Saturday around 10:30 - 11 pm.

If you're a straight single male and your preference is fit looking white,hispanic, or asian women then it's not the place for you; could say the same thing about the whole Riverside area. There's no issues per se with service or anything else so I can't leave a low rating just because it's not my crowd. Riverside used to be a mixed crowd, not anymore. Don't waste your time driving to Riverside at night if melanin or white overweight is not your preference

I went to the loft on 10/26 with friends to celebrate a birthday. I swiped my card for drinks and I signed the merchant copy but my copy was placed in a wet spot making it impossible for me to keep so I left the receipt thinking nothing of it only to see my card was charged for more than I should've been charged for. How is it ok for bartenders to fraudulently update the dollar amount. This is unacceptable and unprofessional.
