This is the second time I was shorted items from my take out order. Very disappointing. The food and service are great. I called them to report the shortage, and they said that I would get a free order next visit. UPDATE: They did replace my order, although the MOD was complaining that the person who told me that they would replace the order didn't have the authority to do so.

My friend and I visited this location over the weekend, arriving about an hour before closing. We noticed a handwritten sign on the door that read, "Please be patient, only one person working today." Upon entering, I saw an employee scrolling on her phone, chatting with what appeared to be a friend (who wasn’t in uniform, so likely not a staff member). Meanwhile, I could hear several people laughing in the kitchen, which made it clear that more than one person was on duty.
After waiting a bit, the employee finally came over, earbuds still in, and didn’t seem particularly interested in helping. She informed us that orders were “to-go only” because she was supposedly the only one working and wasn’t allowing dine-in. Given the laughter and conversation coming from the kitchen, it was obvious this wasn’t entirely true.
It’s disappointing to see this kind of service, especially at a location I used to frequent. Experiences like this may explain why some places struggle to stay open.
It's incredible that every time you go to pick up an order it takes you 20 minutes and in an almost empty restaurant. By far the worst restaurant I've ever been to, I would understand Maybe on a Friday at 7pm you can take a while, but there is no time of day where you can go to this restaurant and you can be late and it can be completely empty and still take about half an hour.

The food was pretty good. We had to ask for sauces a few times. They only had 2 people working the front counter and they seemed over worked. One was happy one was clearly not. I purchased a bottle of sauce before I left and the manager said charge double with not explanation the girl did. I had to ask WHY to which she said Oh we don't have the small bottles in stock this is a large bottle. But had I not asked I would have assumed they just charged me double for whatever reason. Food could have been hotter for sure. The locked bathroom thing seems like an overkill!
Parking: There is a Publix there and other stores so it's free parking but always full

The food is always delicious and they had our order ready when I arrived. The problem is that when we got home they put sour cream all over my wife’s salad and she cannot have sour cream. So she has to eat a very small portion around the area that had sour cream. That is why the food is rated 3/5 stars.

The staff and food was great! But the atmosphere was very uncomfortable, lot of Street people on the patio and when we left we had a Street woman approaches and begged for us to buy her food which my husband did. But it's just very uncomfortable when you're sitting there trying to eat and street people were all around you begging for food. Don't think we will go back. We love Tijuana flats. We've been going for years.
