Tokyo Sushi and Grill at Normandy

Sat for over an hour… 3 doordash drivers later finally the 3rd i message come to find out they did not their doordash system ON. Costing me $80+ that cannot be refunded for 3-5 business days and i still have to PAY THE TIP!

I used to love this place but the past 2 times my husband and I gotten sick from their food. Today I went there and their AC wasn’t working which isn’t too good since they work with fresh seafood so I’m guessing that attributed to getting me sick this time…🫠

Great sushi and service!

I'll start with saying I've been coming here for years and the food is always great, but I came in for lunch with my 2 kids today, they both got kids hibachi and drinks, and I got the lunch hibachi with no drink. All three plates were EXACTLY the same portion yet the kids meals were $2 more and did not even include the drink. When I brought it up she just said that the kids cost more. Makes no sense to me.

The food is not to my liking and a bit bland and unbalanced and in my soup there was a piece of tape so safe to say will not be returning I'll drive to San jose for sakura Japan all love in this review ?.

Very friendly service!The food was fresh and hot when brought to the table. The sushi was so fresh and flavorable. My husband had Teriyaki, filet Mian, and we had eel roll shrimp roll and Alaska roll. Edaname and spring rolls for our appetizer.

Came here on Valentine's Day for lunch. There wasn't anyone there since they had just opened. I wanted to eat before getting my tattoo down the street. I ordered a miso soup, with Yellowtail nigiri and a yum yum roll. I just took the spicy sauce off. The person I went with ordered crab Rangoon and the Philly cheese steak egg roll. Food was brought out quickly. It just took a moment to get the check since both people were on the phone taking orders. The restaurant itself is very nice. It's in the Publix plaza. I had always seen the location when passing by, I just never had a chance to go until now. I would definitely go back. The only change I would make is having more raw rolls and less deep fried/tempura rolls. All in all, everything tasted great. The restroom was also clean when I went. I also enjoyed the decor on the wall too. Very traditional.
