I can only comment on the takeout. I ordered a cheese pizza with fresh mozzarella. I am a New York transplant. I have been down here over 30 years. I've been in Jacksonville just under 3 years. During that time I was on a search - a search for pizza that is comparable to New York's. Well, I found it. When you choose the fresh mozzarella on your pizza, it is exactly like a New York pizza. It drips oil just like the New York pizza does. The cheese is perfect in texture. It has plenty of sauce. The crust is chewy and thin. Absolute perfection!

I was told that if I haven't had pizza from Tony D's, I haven't had good pizza in Jacksonville. Personally, I wasn't impressed. Im not a fan of NYC style pizza. The service was great. Very friendly staff.

they should specify the doors close at 8:30pm but the kitchen closes earlier. they were willing to make whatever we wanted EXCEPT it had to be take-out. in other words we can wait until they make the food because they want our money but we can’t stay there to eat it…the owner shouldn’t leave his restaurant. the front asked the cook what he wanted to do and he made the decision….LOVE the food but the service lately has been pretty bad

First time ordering here. Been in jacksonville for sometime but can't find pizza that reminds me of what I grew up on in NY/Boston. I finally found it. EXCELLENT! WORTH THE DRIVE! GOD BE WILLING THIS IS MY NEW PIZZA JOINT.

What happened to Tony D's pizza? It's been a while since I ordered from here and it used to be the best NY style pizza in Jacksonville. We were so disappointed when we went last week for dinner- the pizza was below average, soggy and tasteless, and in the lasagna there was barely any meat. Sad.
