It had been some time since our last visit; Toscana Little Italy had been an OK place with decent prices but nothing out of the ordinary. When we decided we would go there before the theatre it was more a convenience than a dining choice. I am DELIGHTED to say we were completely off the mark. The restaurant has undergone a transformation to a lighter more upbeat feel and the menu, well the menu was the real surprise. One of the specials for the evening was a braised beef ravioli with mushrooms. Both my wife and I ordered it and we both were completely blown away by the taste. The beef was rich and fragrant and the mushrooms added in just he right amount. It was served in a beef broth reduction with a dollop of Ricotta; had we been home we might well have licked the dish (instead we used the lovely garlic rolls to mop it up). That was not the only star since the small Ceasar salads we had to start were both very good (all components in just the right proportions) and the Lemoncello cake for dessert, oh my! We split a piece and both were slightly sad we had not gotten our own.If you have never been, then put it on your radar to go, and if you have not been in a while, by all means go back.Parking: Ample spaces to park in close proximity to the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: Easy access from the parking lot and the restaurant is all on one level so wheelchairs or walkers would have no problem

Great little Italian place that we found doing reviews since I was on the other side of town where I normally dine. I will come back here again and with other friends and family. Prices are pretty good too. Only thing missing is that fantastic smell coming from the kitchen.

Extremely small portions! I ordered the Veal Parmesan with spaghetti, Large salad, and a side of Sauteed spinach (note theSautéed spinach had some kind of extremely spicy/hot seasoning, which is not listed on the menu in the ingredients) to go. I got home it wasn’t enough food to feed a small child! I spent over $45 for one adult person! Very disappointed!! I will not return!!

This place is a hidden gem, we were seated right away and were immediately greeted by John who made us feel at home right from the start, John gave a tour guide of the entire menu as well as the specials and he seemed really proud of food we were about to experience , he suggested a bottle of wine as well the the brussel sprouts ( which were amazing ) i had the grouper as soon as John told me thats the chefs signature dish ( outstanding ) John really put a great experience over the top..well done...John also made sure to let us know how amazing the pizza and suggested we try toscana pizza, well guess what the very next day i ordered a large pizza for me and my wife and it was outstanding !

Small portions with major up charges. Management charged me for extra pasta because my dish had barely a cup of pasta served to me. Poor service. This company has bad business practices, they are hitting their customers for the make up of overhead due to recent years losses, instead of in house cuts. Needless to say they lost a potential repeat customer for a greedy 10$ side plate of pasta.

Food was good but pricy…. And bread came too late.Dishes were tasty but small servings.
We haven't been there on a while. We decided to visit a few days ago and it was great. I believe they have new ownership or management. They had great special and the food was excellent.

We had a Deluxe Pizza here last night that was superb in flavor, obviously fresh, quality ingredients with a crispy crust to die for. Will be returning.

Went out with my family while in Jax and wanted to find an Italian restaurant. This place was cute, and reasonably priced. Food was actually pretty good but we all felt bloated afterwards.Wheelchair accessibility: My dad had a walker and they helped make space for him and it at our booth.
