Service was great. We had a large (11) group and our server handled it very well. The food was pretty bad. Cold fries and in general pretty unappetizing across the board.

The service was great when the waitress had time to interact with us, need more people on a day like Valentine Day! Wow!! Food was great better than expected. I will be back soon.

It was closed! Even though we had a confirmed reservation, which we reconfirmed through Open Table. Nobody contacted us in advance. And I don't how there was such a disconnect between Open Table and the restaurant. Extraordinary mismanagement at the hotel level, the restaurant level, and the role of Open Table in creating this fiasco.

Booked on line for a job interview. Got to the hotel/restaurant and it was CLOSED. Why? Don't know. Looked great with the interviewer. Jacksonville is a toilet, don't go there.

Lovely brunch with a plethora of breakfast offerings on the buffet ($28). Clean buffet bar and attentive waitstaff made breakfast extra special. They offer water in addition to drinks. (Coffee, tea, Pepsi products, juice and fountain iced tea.) We also had the tart berry smoothie and fresh, never empty, coffee. The avocado toast and eggs were an impressive lighter fare offering.

The food was mediocre and the service was lacking.

Decent food with acceptable service at a reasonable price. Very convenient if you're staying in the hotel, otherwise it's likely not a destination restaurant.

Gumbo was flavorful but lacked much seafood. Salmon was underseasoned. Friendly staff.

Fish and chips consisted of panko coasted fish fingers, not a filet of cod as expected. Cole slaw good, waffle fries seemed to be frozen ones. Chicken sandwich was "justOK" per husband. Very disappointing for a Hyatt Property!

This place is laughable... there were 6 tables in the entire restaurant this morning for breakfast. Took us forever to order because our server was just wondering around talking to co workers. My husband ordered an omelet with bacon cheese and spinach and I ordered the avocado toast.I watched my avocado toast sit in the window under a heat lamp for a little over 15 minutes. The plate was so hot our server even had to carry it with a towel. When I felt how hot the plate was I touched the browned avocado and it was sweltering. I called the server back over and said it was too hot. And when I asked why she allowed it to sit under the heat lamp for that long she said it was because they took forever on the omelet...So I attempted to share the omelet with my husband and it was so disgusting. They didn't even use bacon it was like ham or something. After not receiving hot sauce for the 2nd time we paid our bill & left. No sight of a manager or anyone making sure everyone is doing their jobs. This whole hotel is a disaster. Also, would it kill you to play some soft music? We could hear peoples convos from across the room.

Dinner was as if with family. Able was our waiter who was ready to help guide us through the welcoming menu. He provided frank comments that help guide us in our selections...he was on target! His helpfulness was so much appreciated as insightful, we asked about local shopping recommendations because we were in search of a special Florida item....we were on vacation. Since he was not 100% confident, he requested permission and subsequently summoned support from William Hornsby, Assistant Outlets Manager at this Hyatt. William was as friendly and helpful as any person could be! We talked about his time in Ohio and elsewhere. He offered a couple markets for us to visit in the morning prior to our departure from Jacksonville. In addition, he offered us a small gift of a related item to take home. We stopped the next morning at one of the markets he suggested and found exactly what we were looking for. I'm not sure what he or Able could have done to make our first visit here more enjoyable! My only hope is the senior management at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville sees this...it is well deserved! I have been a Diamond/Globalist member with Hyatt for nearly 30 years and this is why! Just when you think you might be numb to great service, folks like Able and William enter your travels and make a lasting impression!
