Okay, I’ve been to three different Tropical Smoothie Cafes since moving to Jacksonville, and this has to be the worst one when it comes to atmosphere and customer service. Everyone here looks and acts like they just got out of bed and showed up because they had to, not because they want to. There’s this overall vibe of tiredness, zero energy, and nobody even tries to smile or acknowledge customers.

I had a terrible experience at this location. When I walked in, no one greeted me, which was surprising and unwelcoming. The staff that morning all seemed to have an attitude, but that wasn’t even the biggest issue.
I ordered a Mango Monsoon smoothie that tasted like plain water—no flavor at all. It was so bad I had to throw it away. I also ordered my boyfriend a Mango Madness smoothie, and he said it tasted like melted flavor ice.
I placed my order online, and even though two employees walked past me carrying items from my order, neither of them acknowledged me or let me know my food was ready.
I’ve never had a bad experience at any Tropical Smoothie location in Jacksonville until now. I reported my experience to the company because I’m a frequent customer, but I will not be returning to this location again. I would strongly recommend avoiding this one—it’s truly terrible.

NATE IS AWESOME!! There was a time I was short and he helped me!! I came back and made it right. He was humble and kind and very respectful!! The whole crew was amazing! Ashley was busting her but making the smoothes I really enjoyed my experience they need a raise!!

I just doordashed from here and I have no clue what they got going on my meal was inedible. This is my go to and it’s never like this, the tomatoes were missing as well. Terrible quality I wouldn’t get anything besides the smoothie from THIS location specifically.

I visited this location on 10/4/2025 and boy was I disappointed! I ordered my smoothie and tasted it..it was horrible! It tasted like flavored ice! I went back to the store to return it, and the young that remade it was very upset! If I'm paying almost 9 dollars for a smoothie I want it to taste DECENT! I don't know who the manager is, but it was a lot of young people working who could care less about costumer service and or their Job! I want visit this location again! Terrible service and Smoothie!

I ordered the Blimey Limey with supplements added(Energizer, Coconut, Probiotic and Vital Proteins Collagen . It was so tasteful and enjoyed every sip down to the last slurp.

Visited Tropical around 220-230pm on 8/29..service was great. I went into the restaurant to order and redeem some rewards points, i got to the counter and my app was acting odd but the cashier (I think she was a manager, pinkish shirt) was able to resolve my issue. She was very kind and it helped me more than she knows. The food was great. The kitchen staff was also friendly. The food was great, very well made and not skimpy on ingredients. Will definitely visit again very soon.
Yall don’t notify customers of there rewards AND CATCH ATTITUDES also dont take pride in the food seems like all they want is you money and get you out the window and nothing going to change just a response on this app apologizing they messed your day up these reviews go months back it’s about time river city get all the north side customers! If they follow the recipes, the food and smoothies are good. The service.... That is where my rating starts losing stars. To the girl working the drive thru with the Lovely aqua head covering, maybe take your finger off the mic button before you audibly sigh in frustration that I didn't have my order ready in 30 seconds. I don't have the menu memorized. And your tone indicates just how much you hate your job or maybe just the people coming through. I wish you all the things you deserve. I'll drive the extra few miles to Smoothie King next time.

Had a horrible experience ordered a smoothie got an attitude from the girl taking payment because she didn’t hear me say I didn’t want a receipt. She took my smoothie behind the counter where I couldn’t see not sure what she did with it but it tasted horrible like dirt water . I called the manager who said we can write your name down to remake it but I’m not sure if she did something to it like why would she take it where I couldn’t see. Anyhow if she didn’t do something to it , it was a waste of $8 + tip . It was in drinkabl,I will not be returning, I wouldn’t waste my time here for horrible smoothies.
