Uncle Gene's Soul & Seafood Cf

I paid $50 for an oxtail meal , a pork chop meal and 2 small drinks . My husband was ok with the oxtails . The pork chops were not completely cooked and full of grease . So much grease that the skin was soggy and falling off the meat . This is so disappointing. Money wasted . I would never again go here .

I've gone to Uncle Gene's several times but these last few times have been very disappointing especially today which is why I decided to do this review I ordered a baked chicken dinner the chicken was white they didn't even bother to let it cook enough to be Brown, they put it over yellow rice which had absolutely no seasoning no butter no salt no pepper nothing just plain rice and then they covered it with gravy I had asked the young lady that took the order to please be sure the chicken was Brown she told me that the chicken was already cooked which to me would have been their opportunity to put it back in the oven since this is not the first time this happened to me they proceeded to cover it with gravy I guess so they thought I wouldn't notice, the chicken had no seasoning whatsoever the mashed potatoes had no seasoning to it either just potatoes no butter nothing only thing on the platter that was decent was the dressing!

Totally disappointed in my purchase today.

Smothered Pork Chops salty and tough.... gravy soupy...

Greens... no seasonings

Dressing... ok

Seafood Salad... ok

I didn't enjoy the meal and tossed it. I normally go every Sunday after church service!!

The company has cut back on their portions
The corn muffins, are half the size.
The bread pudding does not have any pineapple or raisins in the mixture just a few sprinkled on the top.the side order of dressing is in a salad dressing cup. A sprinkle of rice. The use to season the food, now all the use is table salt.
I live near the airport and would take the drive for the quality. I was shocked to see that no one was in there when I arrived, now I see why.
Be careful not what it use to be.
