This place serves phenomenal soul food. Fried catfish is delicious. As are the; collared greens, okra, oxtail and grits. This is my go to breakfast spot. All of the servers are excellent. Parking is a bit tough. I love this place. Definitely recommend.

I had a great experience. The food was well seasoned and nicely portioned for the price. We all ordered something different but everything was delicious. My Marmosa was also tasty. My server, Cierra was decent as well. All in all it's worth the buck. Will definitely be returning.
Had great service. The food was awesome. Fabulous fried green tomatoes. Roberta was our server and she was terrific. Recommend trying it out.

If you like cold lumpy grits, burnt scrambled eggs, and soggy fried catfish this is the place for you! That was my experience...my wife also enjoyed her hard as a rock voodoo balls, and her Caesar salad with wilted brown lettuce. This is our second time we had a bad time the last time but we thought we'd give it another try. Bad decision!!!!! Uptown If you can't get breakfast right you shouldn't be in business we waited for 45 minutes and the server tried to make it like it was our fault. I won't be back.

We came in from out of town because we saw a good reviews on tik Tok. But that was not the experience from the get-go when we got there we were treated rudely. Told there was an hour wait when there was clearly several open tables. The host seemed to be very confused. We ordered our kids meals first because we wanted the kids to be taken care of but they actually came out after the adults meals and our appetizerd came with her ontrays. My fried catfish was soggy and the grits had lumps in them. It tastes like the grease was dirty. My husband ordered fried green tomatoes and they were soggy and burnt. Our server Ryan was very rude and snobby and didn't seem very concerned with our problems. We asked for the remainder of the missing items to be boxed up as we had to go. That took another 20 minutes we just left the food and went about our business This is the third time I've had a bad experience it used to be good back in the day. I won't be back.
