Busy place but food is great. I've sat the bar and at a 2 seat table both times the servers was friendly, fast and accommodating. I get the catfish and grits that comes with a large piece of fish that seasoned well.

Every time I come here I’m stressed from life looking for a good meal & I get that every time from Ryan the bartender at the bars literally feel at home here everytime. I normally spend a lot of my money here and I always come to the bar, he makes coming here more at home & like somebody actually cares enough to remember me and what I like. It goes along way when you don’t have that & yur always the person giving that care and attention. I appreciate Ryan so much I wish I could bless his entire existence for his compassion. & always making me feel me a black woman matters everytime I come and eat. I appreciate you guys a lot of you could give him an extra raise. He really deserves it. I’ve been coming to uptown for almost over a year by far the best is tuna the guy at the bar. Makes me feel like I matter and that feeling is priceless no tip can amount to it. I would give him all my money if I could without making me broke lol

If Ur Ever In Jacksonville Florida Go Check Out Uptown Kitchen & Bar the Food Is Awesome and The Drinks & Mimosas are On Point 👉 U Will Feel It ! The Bartenders No What they are Doing. The Atmosphere is So Mellow 🔥 It's 4 the Grown Folks but kids are definitely included. There's a outside area also!! I'm Picky and I'm Happy With Them Everytime!! 9/26/25 Enjoy my Bellini drink suggested by a young lady. Salmon and Gouda grits was delicious. It was my first time and a great spot to eat with my sister. We enjoy the outside with fresh breeze.

Food is delicious and fulfilling. Savory flavor, I ordered to go on this day. However the atmosphere is chill, and kid friendly. Parking is tricky, there is a some in the back, a few in front and side street parking as well. Overall definitely will recommend and returning back!

Food is overhyped and it was just okay. Voodoo balls was good, shrimp was super salty, grits was ok. Our waitress wasn’t friendly and neglect us the whole time. The 3⭐️ is for them mimosas .

This place was by far the best Thank you all for accommodating my large party today. Wait time was not long, food was amazing, service was ok for the large group we had. Atmosphere was a lil iffy very tight inside but the food and communication make up for it. Hostess stayed on top and gave us updates on everything. 10/10 highly recommend
