not open till midnight. arrived at 1120pm and place was closed already. why advertise midnight closing very disappointed

Urban Vietnamese — the only thing “Vietnamese” here is the name on the sign.

No welcoming aroma of herbs or broth, only chaotic storage, poor layout, and weak operational discipline. The kitchen feels improvised, not professional.

The food?
It doesn’t taste Vietnamese.
It doesn’t smell Vietnamese.
It certainly doesn’t chew Vietnamese.

Even the fish sauce — the soul of Vietnamese cooking — is diluted until it’s basically clear water.

All the meat are caramelized (different from the picture) and the fish sauce seems to be heavily diluted and put in a black sauce dish so it’s less noticeable. Nice atmosphere though.

It was a really great experience. The place is small, friendly, and the food came out very quickly. I tried the tofu spring rolls and the chicken rice bowl, and both were excellent. I would definitely recommend it!

This is hands down best Pho i have eaten. My mom is from Vietnam and cooks Vietnamese often. This was 100 percent exactly like mommas. The pork vermicelli was delicious also.

1st time here , we came after work since they open late but the minute we walked in the door the girl attending made face and very rudely told us we are closed for dine in since 9 you can only do Togo.
Great way to welcome new guess and I work with ppl 🙄.

We’ve been regular customers at this restaurant for quite some time, always ordering takeout — sometimes bowls, sometimes other dishes — and we always leave tips. Maybe not a lot, but always something.

Today I ordered two Beef Fried Rice dishes and, for the first time, didn’t leave a tip. I was really disappointed by how different the experience was. The person who handed me the food looked annoyed and didn’t even make eye contact. When I got home and opened the boxes, I found only three very thin slices of beef in the whole portion.

Usually, when we order the same dishes with a tip, the food is fresher, the service is friendly, we get soy sauce, and the beef portions are decent. But this time, it felt like they deliberately cut corners just because I didn’t tip. That’s really upsetting, especially considering we’re regulars who have supported this place many times.

Urban Vietnamese has hands down the best pho in town. The broth is rich, flavorful, and comforting — you can tell it’s been crafted with care. The portions are generous, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the fresh herbs bring it all together. Every bowl feels like it was made just for you.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the service always feels personal, like they’re genuinely happy you came. It’s the kind of spot you crave on a rainy day, or anytime you want authentic Vietnamese comfort food done right.

Ordered take out today. Just chicken fried rice but it was awesome! One of the best I've had and my wife if Filipino. Will definitely be going back again.
