Seriously the best pancakes I have ever had!!! Good atmosphere. A little self service. You get your own coffee but they bring your food to you after you order. Great quiet atmosphere.

I came in here at 12 PM exactly on a Thursday afternoon & ordered one sandwich with a side of bread pudding. As I turned the corner to sit down and wait , I heard the cashier who rang me up telling the cook behind her to please make my order before he started making the large order for several people. Less than 30 seconds later, I heard the cook berating her for telling him to do that. The conversation went on for a couple of minutes with her defending herself & him telling her she had no right to ask that of him. I was apalled. I managed a restaurant for years… If somebody came in & ordered one sandwich, I would absolutely tell my kitchen staff to make that sandwich before they attempted to make an order for numerous people. It’s common sense and it’s good customer service. I’m a regular customer here and this makes me think twice about coming back.

Inhumane business practices by “Terri”You are not allowed to be upset with an order. If you do, they then contact your place of employment on your shirt to get you fired. Before they took it to that length, they decided to reach out to me via their personal cell phone to harass me on why they are right and I am wrong. I asked them to stop messaging me. They continued to harass me via text message. I even told them I would leave tons of bad reviews if I was contacted again and harassed. Thats when they contacted my ex employer.After they contacted my ex employer I then received calls from ex employer, telling me everything. Then village bread refused to resolve the situation by apologizing for their actions. Terri needs to be fired and punished for her actions

I really enjoy this place. I have just gone for a regular breakfast. The only caveat is that I have to order the items I want separately but thats ok. The atmosphere is nice especially the music!
