In the midst of hurricane IAN, we got hungry. It was open and packed. We were seated quickly. The menu was very limited but what we wanted was available. Cooked and served perfectly hot and fast! There was so much food I had to bring some home. The staff was happy, jovial in fact. Hurricanes tend to do that to folks round here, (in a Bob Marley kinda way). Nervous energy I guess or maybe just glad the storm impacts have been minimal. A happy brunch made for a welcome distraction. "Don't worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright" and the waffles-amazing as always. Brandy our server was so cool, great conversation, delicious food, made me feel like I was home! Thanks for letting us park our semi truck outside!! Definitely will be coming back when we're in town!
Good service, fast attention and good food. I really liked the attention. And besides, I'm Dominican, I liked that the service person speaks Spanish because I'm still learning to speak English well.
There are Waffle Houses and then there are gold standards. This is a great one. Clean, fast, good service, properly prepared food.
