Bernard runs this Waffle House like a well oiled machine. He and his crew are super nice and work so we'll together. It's nice to hear a manager praising his employees. They were slammed when we got there but our food was great.

This is definitely the best Waffle House location in Jacksonville (maybe even in Florida). Whenever I’m in visiting my home in Jax, I make a point of eating here a couple times during my stay. Great service & delicious food! Last two times here, I was fortunate enough to have “Breka” as my server. Breka is always sweet & efficient, she makes you feel right at home! Hey Waffle House, make sure you don’t lose Breka!

When i tell u everybody in this Waffle House location on Lem Turner was especially nice. Our server name was Tiara, and she was the sweetest and nicest person. She got our orders right. It was a total of seven of us. The cook i dont know her name but she was very nice, polite, and had our food on point. I really dont order steaks that much, but i went out on a limb and omg she had that steak seasoned right and it was so juicy and tender. They went over and beyond to take care of us. Yes i recommend them. Great Job!

It's 2205 and the lem turner waffle House is probably the worst location I've ever been to! I come in and the employees are all horsing around behind the counter and the only person who wasn't acting a plum fool was on her phone texting or watching videos! That wasnt the worst of it! The same people who were messing around now started cursing loudly . Not some but all of them despite them seeing that I had a minor child with me! Since it was getting later I just wanted to get something to eat and go home after my daughters concert. To top it off the waitress not only didn't ask me daughter and I for our drink order but she got our complete order wrong! I tried to explain, hey this is not right I need you to fix it before it comes out. I can hear you telling the cook that put jalapenos and tomatoes on our food! She then proceeded to roll her eyes , get an attitude, and commence to start arguing and bickering with another employee again! I dont know who was the acting manager but that whole shifts needs to be replaced immediately including the manager especially if that was him cooking! Unacceptable and completely unprofessional! Somebody should reach out to me and check those cameras!

I stopped in after a night with my sister in hospice. I was somewhat depressed and distressed. It was the perfect place for me both physically and mentally! Loved loved the atmosphere! Walked out with a smile! Thanks for brightening my day!

Hands down best Waffle House experience we’ve had. We love Waffle House for some comfort food/breakfast and the service isn’t always the best but this time it was. The ladies were so friendly and the food was awesome! We’ll definitely be back to this location just because of the staff. 😊
Came in for brunch with the family before my flight back to Texas. Hadn't been to a waffle house in YEARS. Mel was our server. She was sweet, attentive and got our order perfect. Will come back again!!
Parking: Near lots of stores. You can shop then drop in to eat.
