I know this isn't a local joint, but it was late and local options were slim at the time. I wanted to send a shout out to Waffle House on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville for an excellent experience last night. We walked in for a late dinner at 10 minute to 9. 1. Took over 5 minutes to be greeted by waitress. 2. 1 order had a hair in it that was noticed while waitress was still there. 3. Another order had ham instead of sautéed onions, waitress took it and said meal would be remaid after 15 minutes it still had not and others at my table were finished eating.
