Excellent all around! This is one of, if not the best, restaurant in Jax! I can't really think of a local, fine dining restaurant that is better. It is FINE DINING though so please keep that in mind. Our server Kay was great! She was knowledgeable, attentive but not too much. The bread service is a bit slow as others mentioned but it's because they bake it fresh. I'd rather wait for fresh bread to come out of the oven that bread that's been kept under warmers....
The food here is top notch, everything tasted great and the portions were well sized for how rich the food was. It was so uncomfortablely hot during our dinner though! We were dressed very lightly and I still came out of this restaurant with sweat marks on my back. Other patrons were fanning themselves with menus. Our poor waiter was absolutely dripping in sweat too. They need to turn up the AC! For a place called the Wine Cellar, their wine selection seemed a little slim too,...
WOW. We needed a place for an intimate dinner party and everything was excellent. It exceeded our expectations and we will be back. Bob and Nick were our servers and they did amazing! Highly recommend.
