We’ve been coming to YH Dim Sum for almost a year, and the food has changed over time. It used to be a solid 5-star experience, but lately the dim sum doesn’t taste as good, and some items are no longer offered at dinner. The atmosphere and service are still great, but the food feels like it’s lost some of its authentic Cantonese flavor.

Terrible service and even worse management.We placed an order for pickup.They gave us the wrong item, and when I called about it, he disagreed with me and then told me to drive twenty five minutes back, return it and he would give me the correct item. That's still care that I was not happy about it.

Happy birthday to me! This is the best Chinese food in Jacksonville! Me and my family love the food and service. Our waiter was Brusel, he was professional, funny, cool, friendly, and informative with the menu. The restaurant was clean, served large portions of food and affordable. LOVED the Shanghai dumplings and Jasmine tea! The duck and steamed buns were really good too!! I said we were celebrating a bday and asked if they did anything for that, and they said they did, but seemingly forgot to for us. It's okay though, we had a nice time!! The place looks nice inside as well. You order by menu, not the rolling cart Dim Sum experience.

Food is good every time I go here, even if I’m not the biggest fan of it. Waiters/waitresses are consistently some of the nicest people I’ve met, aside from the great service. Seats are plush, tables are nice to sit at, decoration is great.

I ordered chicken fried rice and found a piece of chicken that looked extremely questionable and unsafe to eat. It had a strange color and texture, and it completely ruined the entire meal. I had already taken a few bites before noticing it, and immediately stopped because it did not look like something that should ever be served to a customer.
The fact that I had to throw out my whole meal is unacceptable. Food safety and basic quality control should be a priority. After seeing other recent reviews mentioning spoiled or lukewarm food, this seems to be an ongoing issue and not just a one-time mistake.
I won’t be ordering from here again.

*** Health HAZARD, Servved Spoiled Food- BEWARE*** Hello, I would like to say that I regret having to leave a poor review of this place. We were good customers when it first opened, and when Danny was there to help train/run the restaurant it was great. However, the quality went downhill, and the management seems to have changed? (An Indian gentleman who just sits at the bar with his wife was seen on the last few occassiobs we went, and introduced himself as the manager). You will read other reviews that say the same thing- but food comes out lukewarm and like 2 mins after you order (microwaved tasting). Sesame chicken is merely a dingy, hard chicken dental floss strip fried to death. Sauteed dishes taste & smell sour. Dim Sum dishes are barely warm and taste rubbery & oily. The fried rice has absolutely NO FLAVOR at sll. None, The last time we ordered to go- we were specific to ask for extra flavor, please some garlic, etc. They assured me it would be in there. Nope. It wasn’t. I called to ask them what happened- the same lady who took the order said they have only Mexicans working in back, and they only understand what is imputted into the system in Spanish. What a joke! … Notably, Danny is seldom seen or gone, the last few times we were there. Please don’t gamble w/ your health eating there.
