Zeus Pizza Grill & Buffet

Former NYC resident here who fell in love with Zeus at first bite into one of their calzones the size of a catcher's mitt! Next up, their sausage, pepper and onion subs - to die for. And don't even get me started raving about those garlic knots! Now for the down side, with this virus in full swing, Zeus became my go-to spot, ordering online and having it delivered in a flash. Until the fateful day came when I placed an online order, then got the notice from SLICE they weren't delivering and had to wait 4 days until the order amount was replaced in my checking account. Calling ahead before ordering after that, more disappointment came my way. I was told I could come in and pick up the order, there was no delivery available. I'm an old guy, and don't drive anymore, this joint was like my meals-on-wheels! Calling another time to see if delivery was available, I was asked what my address was first, gave it, and then was told I'm "too far away" and that the cook couldn't be away too long. WHAAAAT? I'm only 1.6 miles away from the place, and during the pandemic, when takeout and delivery should be the lifeblood for the place, they have no drivers and THE COOK MAKES THE DELIVERIES?? And there I was thinking I was a regular contributor to their injured bottom line, not having regular clientele eating inside the place, and they made me feel like I was now a nuisance. Go figure. But I'll still give them 5 stars for quality food. Whatta world.

Purchased a local flavor certificate, $30 worth of food for $15. Manager told me he would not honor the certificate that I purchased. He said he would take $10 off of my bill. He wanted me to lose $5 to patronize his business. I was looking forward to trying a pizza place near my house, now I will not. There were no stipulations about time or day that the certificate could be redeemed.

We sat and ate a delicious meal. The restaurant was very clean and the service was timely and polite. The food came out quickly and was delicious.

Awesome pizza at affordable prices. Friendly and courteous staff. Give these folks some business!

First time trying this restaurant. We ordered on grubhub bc of a promotion they had running during quarantine. They immediately called me to let me know they were out of a certain ingredient and offered to replace it with something else, which was really nice. The delivery was super fast, and the pizza crust was so delicious! (Better then mellow mushroom!)

Excellent food and friendly service. Nice atmosphere. We have tried the pizza, calzones and lasagna. All were very good. This will definitely become one of our regular places to eat.

I have been here before, but never gotten the buffet. I got to the restaurant right before they shut down the buffet, but the food was still good and at the correct temperature for eating. The staff was incredibly friendly, but weren't in our faces either. It gave my husband a chance to continue working without being interrupted.

Good food. When we got there it was after lunch rush and the buffet needed refilled. Our food was ordered from menu and seemed to take a long time to come but we knew it was fresh made!!

I ordered the Meat Deluxe and chicken wings (Hot) thru Grubhub. Ordering process was easy, even got call from a Zeus Pizza employee to ask what flavor and dressing I want for the chicken wings and the food was delivered on time and as instructed as I was inside The Volstead. Everything was great until I opened the pizza box, I got a Deluxe Pizza, not a Meat Deluxe Pizza I ordered. Ended up picking off the non-meat toppings but I wish I got Meat Deluxe Pizza.

The main rating is for the pizza. I thought the crust was great and flavor was on point! We enjoyed the Alfredo as well. Just simple creamy Alfredo that satisfied my recent craving for some! The garlic bread, however, lacked butter and garlic, it was mostly just bread. I recommend the fried ravioli as an appetizer. The outside was perfectly crisp and insides had plenty of filling. There was also live music which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately we stopped for the buffet part, but it seems to be only lunch. We'll be back to try that out though!

The pizza was excellent. Nice atmosphere, decent tap list, full bar. Great service. The calamari wasn't that good. The rest of the menu looked good. I'd liked to try some if those baked dinners. I'll be back.

I'm really liking this pizza restaurant. Nice staff, good music, a great place for dinner or lunch. Food is pretty good too! Pizza has a great crust and sauce.

Stopped here for dinner after the SM tree lighting...Fantastic pizza and Greek salad...fresh, chewy/crisp crust and generous toppings. Service was awesome...prompt and super friendly. They even had live music! Full bar and lots of local beers on tap. Give these guys a try...with all the chain pizza joints out there, we need to support local businesses!

Good food, made from scratch, we had buffalo wings, burgers and pizza. Intriguing older gentleman playing the guitar, harmonica and other instruments entertaining the patrons. Spacious interior, friendly staff.
